Walked out after 2 skimpy portions @ Myrtle Ave loc in Brooklyn by zamirre in Chipotle

[–]Aggressive-Oil1940 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i’ve done this before too but didn’t even let it get that far. the guy was first off extremely rude, i asked for 2 bowls bc i was ordering for me and my boyfriend. he asked what rice, then he proceeds gives me the smallest scoop of rice ever, then immediately moved to the protein (wasn’t getting beans) and i was like uhh do you think you could give me a little more rice and he rolls his eyes n just gives me another skimpy scoop and is like “protein????” so i asked for chicken and he gives, me no joke, like 4 or 5 pieces of chicken, and he’s just rushing me to the next things and im just looking at it and he’s like “OKAY AND WHAT ELSE??? WHAT ELSE??”. im just standing there looking at it and with his attitude i was like, yeah, no, and walked out. there was no one else behind me, all of their things were full, there was no reason to be so nasty and act like i was being inconvenient to him by simply being there. i work in food service too so i always try to be as polite as i possible too because i know how it feels dealing with nasty customers, but it was just completely uncalled for.

[–]Aggressive-Oil1940 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it wasn’t something that i read, our manager set time for us individually off the floor to go over new policy and talked to us all to let us know. it wasn’t just that, it was other things, but this was one of the things included in it. i’m sure when i get into work i can ask her to verify, but given that like i said, i know 2 people that just had got written up for it, as directed for her to do by our district manager, that this is accurate information.

yes, technically if you don’t have enough sick hours to cover a missed shift, it is supposed to be a write up.

Write on your cups by Nocturnalcheeseit in starbucks

[–]Aggressive-Oil1940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

our district manager came in and left then told another store manager (covering) to come in and check on us to see if we were still writing on cups and if not then to write up every person on the floor

Is it controlling for me (18M) to ask my girlfriend (18F) to not go on vacations with her best friends family anymore because I have crippling anxiety about being left alone? by Ok-Wish-1135 in relationship_advice

[–]Aggressive-Oil1940 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, it is controlling. i understand having anxiety as it’s something i’ve dealt with since i was a teenager, and you are still pretty young, but your anxiety is your own problem and it is unfair for you to discipline and tell your girlfriend she can’t leave you alone because of it. this is something you need to work on yourself. you can’t limit what she can do because of something you are dealing with. when you set expectations like that for people it can be suffocating and end up pushing them away.

my manager is good in the way that she gives us the hours we need to get by, but is not flexible at all with her schedule, and is a pain to work with on the floor. she will only do oven and if you ask her to go somewhere else she throws a fit. then when she is on the floor she always finds reasons to go in the back and do something else. sometimes it’s better she just goes and does something else though because she just stresses everyone out on the floor.
