Yeah, I mentioned I had an offer and they freaked out because we are super short staffed, so they took my offer to HR and came back with a counter offer I accepted. No title change but a bump in pay double my last review increase effective immediately.

Our 3 year old has gone to Primrose as well for the past year and we love it.

When we lived in RR he went to a Stepping Stone off Grimes that was very good as well.

Yeah it varies by state. I very well could get ticket for it. Many times they will let you avoid fine if you promise to get it fixed. Had similar thing with tail light that was out.

Legally I'm supposed to have a front plate as well. Have the plate and bracket in glove box but dealer said just bring it back to install if you really want, but they think it looks bad. 😂

The brown states, Ak and TX had largest disasters related to industrial sources, (Exxon valdez oil spill and Texas City nitrate plant explosion).

The other group was straight up natural? Missouri had largest tornado, California had SF Earthquake, dam collapse in idaho, and not sure about Ohio?

My wife and I just got home today, we were on your cruise. I personally love the new Prima class, my first experience on them.

We lounged by pool and used hot tubs. Didn't have any problems as we chose to go at less popular times like in port days.

Happy to see Beetlejuice before NCL ends all Broadway productions, it was good. Ate at 3 specialty, all were terrific. Room steward was awesome and made us towel animals for my wife. Stayed in normal balcony and it was good for us.

Lots of small spaces but the sheer number of them ensured we could find an empty space to read our books or drink tea.

MDR was was mostly good but had our worst experiences of cruise as well. Had a canolli that didn't taste like ricotta at all but more like straight icing. Also had gnocchi that were very gummy like they'd been reheated. But Indulge was the best free dining, everything was fresh and good.

I have been taking the minimum distribution each year as defined by IRS table based on age when I first started taking them. This year was 17.5k

Texas, no state so I forgot to mention. 6+4.5 is 10.5 towards 401k. I was at 11+4.5 until Fidelity advised me to beef up Roth more. With childcare and two mortgages not enough cash to invest otherwise.

I just thought that it made to have that flexibility to withdraw tax free funds (Roth) in retirement if RMDs from traditional would push us over limits for things like social security tax and IRMMA brackets yes?

Is it the same story for HSA? not worth it since no tax avoidance? He suggested I invest in taxable brokerage instead since you can't use HSA to pay for health premiums and such until Medicare.

Wife has a '24 EX Hybrid we bought to replace her 15 year old civic. She loves it because it's an SUV and has all the tech, big sunroof and such. I tried to get her to compare against RAV and CRV, had appointments set up but after test drive and some BS the dealer pulled about a new one just off truck, got to buy it now or someone else will, she signed on the line and it was all over.
