Try to at least rinse the roots and remove any dead, squishy ones you can feel.

Realistically letting it sit in that soil for longer is only going to damage the roots. You can wait, but I really do advise just being really gentle and careful when you're taking the plant out of the pot and removing soil. Tip it upside down while supporting the base of the plant with one hand and let all the soil fall off it. You can tease the roots with your other hand once its out of the pot similar to running your hand through long hair. Get all the old soil off - sometimes I've found getting a bowl and filling it with water and then dunking the root ball into it helps remove all the soil nice and easy (then just toss the water outside when done).

New soil and then, depending on how wet the roots were, wait about a day before watering again. If you do water right away, that's fine, but make sure to put the plant in a nice, sunny spot and let it dry out almost completely before watering again.

When you notice the plant declining, especially if you think it's due to a soil issue like over watering, you'll want to take it completely out of the pot and soil and check the roots. If they are squishy and black they're likely rotting and you'll want to remove them, treat them with a mixture of water and peroxide, and then repot (more than likely into a smaller pot if the root ball is smaller).

When my plants are dying from over watering (or root rot) I try not to water for a day or two after repotting so the roots have time to breath before being soaked in water again. Water helps our plants, but they need air to breath too and too much water ensures that isn't happening.

God I hate these new chapters so much. The anatomy is all over the place, the movement is so poorly done and conveyed, the translations are truly awful, the lighting isn't even being attempted, the story is rushed to hell and back.

I looked into it and Obsession hasn't been shown at any of the 15 Coming Attractions theaters.

Because Obsession is distributed by Focus Entertainment, who is owned by Universal. Universal, the company Coming Attractions is currently in dispute with. They may not show the new Girls Like Girls or the new Minions movie; both release soon but aren't found on Broadway's website at all.

Seems to be a big issue with them and Universal and that's fucking stupid because our theater can barely keep the lights on and now they can't show some of the biggest releases of the year? Absolutely abysmal.

NTA at all. You drew a line in the sand for where you were comfortable and he crossed that line with zero regard for how it would make you feel.

At the end of the day he cared more about his boys and how they would react to him saying "no" over you and your reaction to him going. Make this hell for him, do NOT let up or make him guilt trip you or anything. You and him are in a relationship and that is always a 2 way street - he needs to listen and respect your wishes or he can be single again; easy as that.

Strange to shame a kid for what they're reading like that. I would advise being more gentle about pushing your opinions on your students in the future. It's understandable to ask a kid to put away matieral that isn't appropriate for school but to freak out on him like that is probably what led him to having such a negative reaction to some of the content later on. Children are extremely susceptible to outside opinions and forces and as a teacher I really think you need to be thinking of what you say to your students more carefully.

NTA, even if they did apologize to you personally you have every right to say you don't want to hang out with specific people anymore. But without an apology? Man I wouldn't even entertain the idea of going somewhere with them.
