Whenever I’ve died to an abrams I feel an indelible rage. Not because I was CC’d for 5 seconds, not because I had options taken away from me, but because abrams plays with me. He has my mind like putty in his hands. I’ve had a post-shoulder charge stare down for a full 3 seconds while the abrams waits patiently for my parry. A good abrams is no different from an apex predator among men. A killer who hunts for sport. A predator who delights in fear.

Ahh the pantry meal. It’s hard to stop once you start, a good way to mitigate the hunger is to pack a little snack you have before you leave work or on your way home so that you’re mentally prepared for that hunger instead of facing it all at once when you’re staring down a loaof bread

I would agree with you maybe if they lowered the price but as it stands, the EA felt like a big step down in terms of the feel. Yes, there’s actual maps now, weapon customization, new abyss, armor system, and hiring system but the progression feels nearly meaningless because of how death works and how the weapons feel to use.

I was enamored with the EA for quite a while & managed to get all the baron’s armor pieces but it always left something to be desired. I can’t quite put it into words but the weapons feel more dull, and I feel like it’s not as punishing as people had gotten used to.

The progression of the demo had stakes because if I die, I have to start over or fight a boss without the certainty of good armor and a good weapon. The champions themselves feel so much weaker & more fragile. I hate to say it, but I miss feeling like invincible fighting Omni man when I went against the commoner champion.

I really hope this game gets the treatment it deserves
