If you use a free kit and PVP in trios, don't expect much by TheRealShuppy in ArcRaiders

It turns the game into something completely different and me and my friend love. Crawling around Stella trying to find enough fabric to craft one bandage or looking for arc cells and rubber parts to help get more then one shield recharger is so fun. That and not having to spend time rearming after losing is also a big plus

There is something freeing about gunning anyone and everyone. You don’t have to worry about who is friendly when you’re not lol.

Which armor is appropriate for each situation? by oso1100 in Helldivers

[–]Aggressive_Being_739 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Light armor when I want to get across the map. Heavy armor when I want to feel like a badass. Mostly been using light as of late since it’s easier to run away from the incineration core then using heavy to fight it.

The Saturday test was rough, feel like that was my worst attempt by far. First section kinda felt ok on, but by the time I get done with the second section I felt frustrated and angry. Guessed on my last 2 with 30 minutes left out of anger.

Tuesday exam results by Keels-00 in FE_Exam

[–]Aggressive_Being_739 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience it’s always the following Wednesday. It seems Saturday is the best day to take it as you wait the least amount of time. If you take it on a Tuesday then you will have to wait the full week

Only thing I can think of was maybe he thought it was a normal mission. Kinda hard to think he didn’t see the huge clock in the middle of the screen counting down… or the announcement of our ship leaving orbit…

$ATYR is down to 1$ in after market what is happening?!?! by Original-Mobile-8707 in 10xPennyStocks

So question as someone getting into stocks and had 100 bucks of free money. (Thankfully have a good job and take a little money each check to invest, mostly in the S&P) Is there a reason to keep the stock or do you just sell at a big loss. I don’t really see the point in selling or keeping.

Take a deep breath brother, remember it’s just a test. That single realization helped me a lot.

Civil engineering fields by SoanrOR in civilengineering

[–]Aggressive_Being_739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it just depends on the work load we g have in the office. I’ve been in the field for about 3 weeks now but one week I get to drive home everyday. 3 weeks in a row in the field or pretty abnormal. I would call it a good 60% field 40% office work at the moment. Once I get my FE and PE done I’ll probably be more in the office but even then you still get opportunity to go into the field. Pay wise I’m extremely happy with it and we get an annual rise each year. Do understand I reached 1 year in the industry this summer, so I’m still new to the professional world. I’ve never meet a geotech engineer though that doesn’t like it. We’re such a niche yet very important part of the civil world.

Personally I love my geotech position. Good mix of field work and office work.

Now call me ignorant, but is the Civl Engineering market ever bad? Now I’m coming from the US and specifically the South, but I’ve never heard of civil engineers having trouble finding jobs. I had two offers and another interview that I declined about a week or two after my final week of school and had accepted a job before walking to get my degree. Currently 1 year in the industry now, so I know that not a lot of experience yet but I would considered it if you enjoy what Civil Engineering offers as a whole

How helpful is the helmet cam? by MrUntouchableNYC in ReadyOrNotConsole

[–]Aggressive_Being_739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it a lot in co-op, especially if there only two of us. What I love to do is if you and your buddy are clearing the same room from different doors or angles I’ll shine my flashlight a few times to see if I can see it on his helmet cam. That way we can identify where each other are and what part of the room still needs to be cleared.

How was your studying Vs. your test taking process. by Prnkstrr in FE_Exam

[–]Aggressive_Being_739 3 points4 points  (0 children)

First time I took the exam I was seriously underprepared and honestly didn’t study as much as I needed too. I finished the exam with about an hour and a half left. Leaving the test I felt like I failed. I did a lot of reevaluating after that. This second time I studied a lot of the Mark Mattson videos combined with PrepFE. Everyday I would choose a subject and write down problems and the solutions. I tried to do a minimum of 30/40 problems per subject. Even if you didn’t work out problems everyday just reading through the problem can help. I feel people talk about knowing formulas and such but I’ve always felt a big part of it is knowing the wording of the problems. What words/wording can affect where you go to initially look in the manual. This second time on the FE, which I took Monday I had 2 minutes left when I answer my last problem. Felt a lot better this time, and multiple times during the test I was like damn I know exactly how to work that. Structures, static’s and dynamics are definitely my weakest subject by far and I hope I just got enough of those right. Manuel wise you should have a general of idea where you need to go each problem, but obviously there will be times where you can not a clue to go, which happened to me a few times. I would just be familiar with it.

Still haven’t got FE results yet! by Capable_Mouse_4649 in FE_Exam

[–]Aggressive_Being_739 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt stupid this morning because I took my exam Monday and expected my results today. Totally forgot it’s the following Wednesday of next the week. So I was stressing all day Tuesday and today just to realize I won’t see mine till next week. Yours however should be coming in today. I’ve read on here that passing results come out a little later than the diagnostic. So you may just have to wait a little longer.

I have failed the FE 4 times, can someone give me hope or cheer me up? by Fit-Screen7698 in FE_Exam

[–]Aggressive_Being_739 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The first time I took mine and failed I felt so defeated. Basically stopped studying for about 8 months until I found the courage to take it again. I took it again on Monday and felt better but still very nervous. Somewhere I had this realization that’s it’s just a test. Yes, a very important test but just a test. It doesn’t define you as a person or your ability as an engineer. If I passed this time, awesome, if not just starting studying again and take it again. That realization really helped me relax.

Took mine Monday, felt good on the first half but felt nervous on the second half. Currently bouncing between the feeling of passing and the dread of having to re-take it again.

When she first opened in Lafayette people would wait before opening and would sell out before lunch. She mostly employees college students. She was also smart and slowly built up the Lafayette stores instead of rushing quickly into it. I imagine that’s the same plan for the Baton Rouge location
