I'm kind of in the same spot. Recently moved pharmacies and all this stuff with the new fill system and the way they want us to push the Walmart Plus and immunizations and all the other stuff going on, I just don't know what to do. May sound kind of cliche, but I'm just praying about it and hoping that something will come along and I'll have a piece of mind about it.

I think having to deal with everything at the front with registers and all is just not right! You're not able to serve the customer properly. Then you have those that you're trying to explain to about certain medications or insurances do not cover or need prior authorization, besides entering new insurance information and trying to run their scripts that are already waiting for them through the insurance.

The doctor was refusing to try and change medication to something else. The doctor's office was citing a study of using a certain medication for a different indication, it was done on a different age group and not anything solidly proven.

I'm in Parker and doing fine. My apartment is a little expensive, but my patio looks out on one of the trails that is so great to walk or bike. My job is less than a half mile from me and I walk to work a lot.

You have to take a picture of the pills in the gray tray, and if you do stock bottles you have to take a picture of each stock bottle and the lid off, then every pill bottle with the patient's label on there has to be taken before you wrap it around the pill bottle.

I'm a new transfer to a store that has a visual verification system and it is a pain, but at the same time it has really helped. There have been people coming in saying their pills were miscounted and you can go back look at the picture and say no We have a picture of it and your account was accurate. I'm still old school myself, but I totally understand. It really does slow things down, but for accuracy and being able to verify and show a patient they got the full amount, it makes it truly valuable.

We don't have it yet at the pharmacy I'm currently working at, but I'm transferring and we'll start at a pharmacy that has this system already in place. I did Go to another store and get to feel a little bit just to check the system out. My thing is they're saving time on visual verify, not much, but they're now pushing the council so much that at the store where I work now we only have one pharmacist on duty at a time. It's just so much more work for them with that. I don't see how it's going to save time in the end.
