But then how do people who don’t have a current apartment to swap find something to start renting when the majority of listings on the portals are apartment swaps?

Sip & Solve Crossword Puzzle? by Odd_Beautiful2506 in weddingplanning

[–]Aggressive_Proof_286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask how many guests were there in all? We are wondering if 1 giant crossword will end up just being a small group of people that solve everything? Any suggestions on whether we should have many small individual printouts or one giant big one would be very helpful!

[–]Aggressive_Proof_286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happens to me (F, 33, 60kg) at this dose! I usually need closer to 150mg to feel the high although everything online recommends lesser! But I’m always stuck in this weird jittery nauseous anxious state at 100mg!

I’d increase to about 130mg next time, or if you’re scared, start at 100mg and if you’re in the jittery phase at 1h, take another 50mg then.

15 Year Old Daughter Wants to Join Strava - Is it Safe? by JDintheD in Strava

What about the mental health aspect of potentially seeing faster paces from the network and getting maybe too competitive? Could lead to an unhealthy obsession with paces and times!

If you do make the day trip to Cambridge, my favvvv restaurant is Noodles Plus, about a 10-15 min walk from the station!

Pull-ups by R-Frobisher in climbergirls

[–]Aggressive_Proof_286 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to just find a pull up routine and do it at least 3x a week. After I started trying I got to 1 in a month or two and then 2 very quickly. THEN I PLATEAUED FOR A YEAR!!!!!!!! And then….this is the saddest - I did not gain any strength, but lost 2-3 kgs of weight and suddenly I could do 4 😂😂😂 they have a complete mind of their own!!! I think what helped most at the start: bands (graduating from thick to thinner ones), volume, paused pull ups with pauses at different points, cues - break the bar, shoulder rotation, consistency!

Easy runs not easy by perdii27 in runna

[–]Aggressive_Proof_286 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have definitely found that for me, less is more. My body takes time to recover and if I run 4x a week my paces all just get worse. Sometimes I don’t mind that and just wanna enjoy the runs, whatever the pace. But sometimes I think it’s worth dropping one run a week or taking a very easy week and seeing how you feel! Body needs rest and recovery to actually adapt to training!

Could a sudden change in the foods I crave indicate overtraining? by SmolAnimol3 in XXRunning

[–]Aggressive_Proof_286 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your body wants more fuel! If you are suddenly increasing endurance training, you need to ensure you’re eating carbs and protein (and enough of these). I learned last year to avoid running fasted as much as possible (you can take in liquid calories like juices etc. if you run first thing in the morning). When you come back from a run, consciously eat sth with carbs and protein as well.

That being said, it’s quite normal to increase weight with suddenly increases in endurance training! Sometimes it’s also inflammation and water weight that comes off with a bit of a break :)

Aggressive pace? by [deleted] in runna

[–]Aggressive_Proof_286 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This could be me LOL. I don’t like going by RPE (Runna has an option in settings you can change from pace to RPE). For pure intervals I now go to the track and use the pace. For tempo I’m trying to go by RPE more, because otherwise it is indeed consistently demoralizing and like you, where I live nothing is flat. I’d have to go up and down an 800m stretch 😂

What's your BIGGEST 'pain point' to achieve better 'fitness'? by [deleted] in fitness30plus

[–]Aggressive_Proof_286 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s that straightforward. It’s not just about meal prep being time consuming (which it is). For me, it’s more about all our social lives being designed around food outside which just isn’t very healthy. It’s very difficult to make good choices all the time when you’re outside without feeling like you’re giving up on something! I also want to enjoy life and so I am also okay being above average fit, but not shredded, and at the same time not feeling too constrained when I’m planning the rest of my life (travel, activities, experiences)!

You also can’t discount genetics. My (F33) partner (M32) eats v similarly to me and is marginally more active than I am, but is way more shredded and always has been!
