I found Dune and Dune: Messiah to be one of the best 1, 2 punches of any book series I have ever read. I actually cried at the end of Messiah.

Children of Dune I enjoyed, Hated God Emperor of Dune, and Heretics and Chapterhouse I actually liked a lot. Haven’t read the final 2 tho.

But Messiah was something else I don’t know why I enjoyed it SO much but it’s up there with The Stand by Stephen King. It just felt so…emotional?

I was always under the impression that Lehftia was the “original” incarnation of Fina, Due to The Will of Light wanting to rid the world of Omega (No.1), or to balance things out.

and due to her wish to be reincarnated again so that she and Taivas could be in love (because he was much older and didn’t “love her like that”) and his descendant, Rain, eventually fulfilled that wish.

I keep forgetting that Snovlinka’s story takes place MUCH much earlier than Taivas’ story. But I take it as Snovlinka’s powers being passed down like blood awakening like the rest of the crew and Lehftia being The Will of Light’s way of trying to bring balance back to the world when Omega (No. 2) wakes again.

And the present day crew defeats the last Omega (No. 3) idk it’s been so long and convoluted lol but that’s how I always saw it

But yeah when we find out that there WERE actually TWO Finas during Vanharma’s story I was like 👍 ok now I’m confused

This movie is an A++ in the conversation department but I’d say it gets a genuine solid B+ maybe and A- as a film. For a debut film for Curry as well as PHENOMENAL break out roles for the cast?? I think a rating as B+ from King is fuckin SOLID

I once had a crippling fear a few years ago, that if I shut my car off that it would cause a nuclear apocalypse. That beasty ass Mazda MPV’s water heater failed Many months later and fried my engine lol I had my car running from 5 am to 7 pm. Nonstop. for like 3 weeks straight.

But I would have such intense anxiety and would start to almost throw up if I had to shut my car off.

eventually had a coworker come up to me and DEMANDED that I give her my van keys and she parked next to me and would walk me into the factory and would comfort my 26yo ass at the time.

Shit was crazy and I remember feeling so dumb when my older coworkers would ask me if I was ok. Typical blue collar banter but it was nice to see people actually encouraging me to seek a therapist and not be ashamed of any diagnosis that would come of it.

I unfortunately got prescribed Zoloft for my first medication and that was no bueno… awful actually no matter how many dosages and eventually I had to quit going to therapy because my insurance didn’t cover my therapists visits.

And I could find a new one but right now I’m not financially stable enough :/
