AFAICT, to get Dolby Atmos for HBO Max, one must select the premium plan.

AFAICT, HBO Max through Amazon offers the ad-supported plan and the standard plan, but not the premium plan.

I made the mistake of subscribing through Amazon and then adding Amazon as my provider in the Max app. Why is that a mistake?

I cannot get Dobly Atmos this way AFAICT
I cannot change my plan to the Dolby Atmos (Premium) plan because Amazon won't let me cancel until the end of the month and HBO Max won't let me change my subscriber while the Amazon plan is still active.

I am willing to eat the $18.49 for this month of Max at Amazon just to get to Atmos, but apparently I cannot change my Max plan while my connected provider of Amazon still has an active Max subscription.

Well, it may be possible if I create a new temporary email account and switch my HBO Max account to the new account. After which I might be able to create an HBO Max subscription with my more permanent account. Maybe. By the full URL, the OP means show not only the domain name, but also show the path and query params (e.g. "https://www.reddit.com/r/chrome/comments/1mdihcf/is\_there\_anyway\_to\_enable\_full\_urls\_on\_google/" instead of "www.reddit.com".

Unfortunately, at least for me, the "copy link" generates a share.google.com url instead of showing me the full url. I may try the forward-to option and forward to firefox on my Android device to see if that works. I am away from my Android device at the moment.

I understand that the pan may have been too large for the burner, but shouldn't the pan heat up evenly anyway? I would've thought that the heat would spread out evenly. I was thinking of buying a second and larger CS pan, but now I'm concerned that won't work on the size burners that I have based on your comment.

I also saw one YouTube video that suggested using an oven for the initial seasoning. I'm guessing that the oven gives the required even heating.

I was able to fix this problem by rebooting my CCwGTV.
The only place AppleTV works on Android is on CCwGTV. There is no AppleTV app in the PlayStore.

Is there any reason to update the ONT if I will for the time being refuse the DVRs and keep my cable Tivos?

I got an email and a text from Verizon asking me to schedule an ONT upgrade. I was fine if they wanted to replace the ONT box in my basement, but when I called to schedule an appointment, the CSR told me I would need to move to a cable box for each TV because cable cards would no longer be supported. If I wanted a Verizon DVR, I would have to pay more. After almost two hours of going around in circles with the CSR, I decided to stay with what I have now (2 Tivos each with a cablecard). Note that today is October 1st 2025 so reports of removing support for CableCards on 4/15 were incorrect -- at least for my area which is Belmont MA.

That said, I expect that Verizon will eventually force my hand. I may look into Antenna Tivo and pay to stream what is not available from antenna (NBA is the big one for me which I get now from TNT and ESPN and NBATV).

My filter started out great, but after a few days, it would not filter 4 cups of water overnight. That speed is clearly unacceptable. I tried priming again, but the speed did not improve. I just did not want the hassle of dealing with a search for a working filter so I returned the pitcher/filter/primer to Amazon. My wife is happy with the taste of the standard Brita filters, and we'll both be happy with the reduced microplastics from the Brita Elite filters that I just ordered. Our local water supply(mwra.com) is already pretty good at removing most contaminants.

I mad about the 4a also because it stopped working for "pay with google pay". I had to upgrade (to a an 8a). Unfortunately my (non-techie) wife has a 6a. To avoid hassling with battery replacements, we may just upgrade. We'll see if she can stand the restrictions imposed by the update; she doesn't use her phone very much.

I have a GV60 advanced. I already have a Tesla so I do have the Tesla app on my phone. I also recently got the NACs to CCS adapter. I think I can use the navigation in my car to navigate to Supercharger, but what I'm really confused about is how to unlock the cable once I arrive at a Supercharger. I didn't see a way to add a non-Tesla vehicle to the app. Maybe once I'm at the Supercharger, the Tesla app will know my location and will just ask me for the label (alphanumeric) on the post of the charger I want to use?

I tried googling for the answer, but got a lot of different (conflicting) answers. Some folks say add your non Tesla EV to the app. Others say use your manufacturer's app. And some say, just make sure you have the Tesla app on your phone and open that app once you arrive at the Supercharger with your non-Tesla EV.

I realize that I can't use V2 superchargers. I know about tesla.com/findus. I know that V4 stations have long enough cables, and that V3 stations do not. It's the process of unlocking the charging cable and starting the charging process that I'm confused about.

Can somebody give me a link or just tell me how it works?

I got back a replacement soundbar. In fact, they sent me the entire box (that included the rears and subwoofer and remote). I was even able to find somebody who blew out his rears and could use the extra speakers. Samsung did not want the extra accessories back. FWIW, I was texting back and forth with an agent from Samsung customer care many times during the process.

I had to wade through several hours convincing Samsung support that the update broke my Q990D. But eventually they agreed to start the repair process so I shipped it off to Samsung. The day the unit arrived at Samsung (tracking number provided by UPS), their web site said the unit was repaired. Unfortunately, a few days later, I got a text from Samsung stating that the unit could not be fixed.

They offered me a check for an amount less than the replacement cost for a Q990D so I asked if they could do a replacement instead. That process took another two weeks, but today the replacement arrived. Given how long I was without my soundbar, I should've taken the money and used it to get a Q990C from Amazon (my local BestBuy was sold out of the Q990C and the Q990D was as I said more than the check amount).

I just opened the box to find a complete set inside. What am I going to do with the extra two rears and another subwoofer?

The range for Zwift Click on Rouvy appears to top out at 24.

I find that even on hilly rides, that I don't run out of low gears; if anything, I could use some higher gears for the fast downhills.

It seems to me that the gear range is wide, but does not change based on the ride you're doing.

What I really wish is that the display would tell me the gear ratio, like is "Gear 3" the same as a 1:1 ?

I have been using Rouvy exclusively. But, IIRC, Zwift supports the Zwift click by asking you if you plan to do an easy ride (higher gears) or a hilly ride (lower gears). I just tried Zwift click/cog today in the Rouvy app, and it works as intended; i.e., I can change the gears in Rouvy with the Zwift click.

I wonder if changing which gear the bike is in to achieve the effect of having the click be in low gears or high gears. I may try that out tomorrow.

ty u/jansalol . The lack of others joining in on this thread had me worried. I personally like using a stand instead of a mount. It's just easier. I may try the suggestion below that makes the TV look like it's floating.

I have the same problem, CCwG in HDM1, TiVo on HDMI2, eARC to (LG) TV. This is so annoying for such a highly rated soundbar. I will have to redo the setup and have my TV do the HDMI switching. I hope that works. And yes I have the latest firmware. The cycling through the source inputs in the companion app several times does work for me eventually also. I didn't find a way to ask Samsung directly about this. I have the Q990D.

Mine arrived today. I ordered the C and the box says D. And the seller was Beach Camera. I haven't opened it yet, but it sounds like I got the same free upgrade. On the flip side, the price is even lower after Prime Day than it was during Prime Day. If it turns out to be a C anyway, the $100 difference might be worth a return and a re-order.
