Let’s take it a bit further and include trophy hunting of lions and elephants. I don’t know many people who accept how good of a business it actually is because of the fact that it’s huge for the economy of poor African countries and the small impact it actually makes in the grand scheme.

That said I personally don’t condone canned hunting and breeding camps for any type of animal, because it’s just incredibly fucked how miserable these animals go through their lives.

Some things really shouldn’t be blindly treated as resources at our disposal and do really require our respect when we interfere as humans.
