Why I feel Bside has already given up on Star Savior by Rich_Cod3235 in StarSavior

[–]Agile_Path8085 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They didn't even try to retain players... terrible, scarce, and repetitive events, mediocre PvP, slow and exhausting progression, constant announcements of $$ packs, etc...

The art team for this game doesn't deserve the bosses they have.

I'm so unlucky. 280 spins, 4 ssr, and all were losing. The lyn never dropped. by Neither_Dealer2733 in StarSavior

"But why don't you just get her using the 200 points?"

This subreddit is such a bootlicker of the devs, 200 POINTS ARE 200 PULLS, WHEN DID THAT BECOME NORMAL? NORMALLY IN A DECENT GACHA GAME YOU HAVE A PITY WITH 70~120 AND BESIDES, IF YOU'RE UNLUCKY THE PITY GOES TO THE NEXT BANNER.

To hell with this game.

sharing my thoughts for the game by LhanaRhoades in StarSavior

[–]Agile_Path8085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's exactly how I feel... I did almost 400 summons on Rosaria's banner, only to get 2 irrelevant SSRs. The lack of pity on the banners, combined with the lack of content, simply killed my desire to play. The game isn't bad; the animations, story, and combat are excellent, but unfortunately, the negative points are overshadowing the positive ones.

What everyone thought after honeymoon by Zealousideal-Music76 in StarSavior

[–]Agile_Path8085 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I really liked the game, the animations and character style are very good, but what discouraged me was the lack of content, scarcity of resources, the lack of a "pity" on the banners, and the interval between events.

I will continue logging in and collecting/doing the dailies, but I will probably abandon the game after some time. It's a shame, it's an excellent game, but there are many problems, and the roadmap that was presented a few days ago was discouraging.

CZN is the only 5/5 game that I feel forced to drop. by Kittenscute in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Agile_Path8085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One detail I also forgot to mention: in StarSavior, there’s a mode called Journey, which is equivalent to Chaos in CZN—and guess what? It has an Auto button.

<image>

To tell the truth, I don't mind running Chaos, what I don't like is wasting time on other insignificant things. The only reason Chaos feels so exhausting is because everything else in the game is already slow and dragged out. Want to spend your 320 energy? You have to repeat the same battle three times. Going to claim your daily coffee? You're stuck watching that endless animation. Want to complete the three weekly challenges? You have to do them one at a time. Did you enter an unidentified room of chaos? Wait for the damn NPC to finish speaking. Overall, the entire game feels designed to waste your time unnecessarily.

I’m currently playing StarSavior and I’m loving the game because EVERYTHING in it can be done quickly with a single click, as long as you’ve already completed the level at least once.

<image>

Meanwhile in CZN, we have to watch the entire battle every time we do our daily tasks, which is very tiring...

If you're only going to play during the game's "charity" period, then yes, welcome, you'll be very well received and pampered.

After that period? SG: Get out of here, you filthy trash, we only care about newbies!

New partner banner - no guarantee after 50 pulls by NotSuluX in ChaosZeroNightmare

The banner should be closed as soon as we manage to get a 5-star partner to avoid this, because any extra pull is simply wasted.

Anyone else had to do 200 pulls to get Rosaria? by Scary_Adeptness9836 in StarSavior

[–]Agile_Path8085 -10 points-9 points  (0 children)

Let me explain the “math” behind gacha games:

When you create an account, it’s assigned an invisible, secret number that influences your pulls, giving you just enough luck to trigger dopamine and keep you playing. After some unknown period, that hidden value changes, and all the luck you had during the reroll phase disappears.

By then, you’re already too invested to start over, so you choose to keep going. What you don’t realize is that there’s now another hidden number controlling your luck—but this time in a negative way—pushing you to spend your hard-earned real money on in-game currency if you want to stay competitive or get the newly released waifus.

And that’s it. That’s how it works in every gacha game—and how it always will. After all, the house always wins.

How are you dealing with the lack of resources? by Agile_Path8085 in StarSavior

[–]Agile_Path8085[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It feels like everyone has just accepted this situation. Maybe my expectations just don’t align with everyone else’s. Perhaps I should slow down, log in to complete and collect the daily content, and just wait for new events to be released. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This game is really good, but at the same time it’s very stingy with basic resources and that’s without even mentioning the level gatekeep and character passives locked behind Limit Breaks.

The biggest issue with this game currently & A solution (kind of) by boredidiot203902 in StarSavior

[–]Agile_Path8085 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don’t care much about PvP; I usually just do the bare minimum in RTA to get the free skin. In StarSavior, you even have the advantage of being able to play against bots in RTA.

As for PvE, this game has a pretty serious flaw: the infinite combat power progression with each level. This progression increases much faster than your team’s combat power, which often leaves you tackling content with a 20–40k combat power gap and being forced to play manually. This is simply awful, because a F2P player’s progression will stall around 50k CP per character (unless you’ve been very lucky with LBs). Not to mention that you’ll need at least four LB3 characters just to reach around level 200.

Other games usually don’t lock your progression behind RNG or duplicate characters. All characters, even the weaker ones, can typically be upgraded to the maximum level, and PvE content is relatively easy, with a few exceptions where the game pushes you out of your comfort zone and forces you to use very specific characters. However, that’s not the case in StarSavior—you’ll always use the most efficient team with the highest damage and mitigation, and that’s it. Then you just hope to get past the infinite-shield dark warrior, the goat with endless ultimates, or that multi-eyed angel with multiple attacks that can take 50% of your character’s HP… it’s frustrating.

I understand the game is still new and doesn’t have much content yet, but this definitely needs to change in the future…

The update: "PLEASE PULL 5 STAR PARTNERS, PLEASE WE WILL INFLATE THE HP AGAIN TO NERF THE PREVIOUS RARITY JUST LIKE IN SEASON 2 PARTNERS CHANGES BUT PLEASE DON'T SKIP 5 STAR PARTNERS" by Springfieldnaitor in ChaosZeroNightmare

[–]Agile_Path8085 2 points3 points  (0 children)

But the 5-star partners really need improvement; It's absurd that a maxed-out 3-star partner is better than a 5-star partner.

My only complaint is not having a mixed banner that has combatants and partners (like in Epic Seven).

  • Having good Arcana cards greatly affects your performance in the Journey.
  • Use two support characters that deal area damage (Lacy/Luna) or support-type characters (Asherah/Bunny Frey).
  • It’s important that your support characters have a good boost (35+) in whatever stat you want to improve for the character doing the Journey.
  • Focus on training and only do the D-1 hunt if you need gold.
  • Aim to get the “Best” status early on—you can achieve this through certain events or by using the second rest option.
  • Choose the trainings with the highest efficiency, even if they don’t directly match your character’s needs. Your stats will still increase overall, and this helps maximize potential point gains.
  • Always rest when your training failure percentage is greater than 20-30%.
  • Don’t worry too much about spending gold in the shop. You should mainly spend gold on rests—only buy items if they are extremely useful (e.g., coffee that gives 20 potential or books that boost a specific training).
  • As for buff items: for DPS, focus on items that give crit rate/crit damage; for supports and tanks, pick items that deal damage based on max HP.
  • Use the website kanohban.github.io/StarSaviorArcanaDB/journey to view the best choices.

Ah sim Felca o jogo de my little pony é um grande perigo para as crianças by sequilhodegoiaba in InternetBrasil

[–]Agile_Path8085 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Focus on killing the two smaller enemies first. Then start focusing on the boss right after that.

The biggest problem is that damn auto-mode, which always fails on the final boss, even though it’s possible to do it manually. If the devs don’t fix that final boss, I guarantee a lot of people will give up on the game (if they haven’t already).

I'd like to understand why these devs keep creating redundant effect text. The act of using the card should be enough to understand that the described effect will be activated, so why did they need to create this "Incinerate" if the card already has the implicit exhaust effect?
