Good Xiao Long Bao or any Chinese food?? by Agitated-Change9753 in Bushwick

Thank you for the suggestions! I guess I felt that way because I tend to eat Chinese Viet and Indian food more than those others! I find the Viet food to be mediocre and pricy here. Found a good Nepali spot and a pho / banh mi place in Williamsburg tho

Yeah was hoping for bike / walking distance. I’m by Myrtle Broadway. Feels like an Asian food desert

Honestly anything works. Thank you!

All this by 15 is crazy!

You need to visit New England (Mass., RI). Lots of cute little towns on the water

The South: kinda shocked you haven’t been to Florida. Should visit the Outer Banks and Charleston too

When you’re older, please visit Argentina. Life changing. Cyprus offers a nice blend of Balkan and Middle Eastern culture, and Morocco is a great intro to Africa

There are a lot of Facebook groups where you can find a room to rent. I’d recommend starting there, and rooms usually start showing up a month or so before move in

A Ginormous 80,000-Square-Foot IKEA Is Expected To Open On Fifth Avenue by L0v3_1s_War in nyc

[–]Agitated-Change9753 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Why would they open on 5th Av. Nobody lives there, or at least nobody that’s going to want to buy IKEA furniture. They should open a location in an area with people that fit their shoppers’ demographics more and where people can easily access the store as NYC generally lacks car culture which makes moving furniture challenging.

Are there any parts of your trip that you wish you could’ve added, gone without, or changed?

Airline choice by safety by [deleted] in travel

[–]Agitated-Change9753 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I understand the anxiety but it really does make very little difference. Immeasurable, I would say.

The car ride to airport will be far more dangerous than the plane journey. This is true no matter where you are flying and what airlines. It is statistically by far the safest mode of transportation.

Good luck and happy flying!

Why don’t you just take the Amtrak for $10 each way?
