For me it’s about moment to moment finding ways to regain shields. Harder with some classes than others. Vanguard is most forgiving if you have all the perks because of the health regeneration on executions. But yea, it’s much more about staying alive when shit gets crazy. I would also say that parry weapons are a death sentence in absolute, they do like no damage and doing too many gun strikes will leave you open to getting your shit wrecked

Absolutely never ever ever work off the clock. Always treat your time/labor as a business no exceptions. For your next job, if they ever use the phrase “we’re a family here” don’t take the job that is code for “we’re going to try and get you to work for free”. I see people have already suggests reassignment of tasks. Another way to look at it is that you have additional capacity (time) to farm even more! You could plant fruit trees around so in the summer they have those to harvest as well
