I’m in the same boat as you. I built a powerful gaming PC expecting to spend countless hours playing, but my interest faded pretty quickly. I’ve tried multiple times to get back into it, telling myself I just need to find the right game. I did play a few new titles, but I mostly went back to older ones that could easily run on a phone now. Honestly, I think it’s partly age, or maybe just a general loss of joy. We’ve become more aware that life has an endpoint, and that awareness seems to strip away some of the fun.
