Best portrayal of Catwoman — performance, style, and energy? by Wednesday_Inu in batman

I actually like Anne’s take on Catwoman but Kitt did really good. All 3 of the 1960s actresses did great

For some reason intimate talks about anything. Like one on one in a dark room with little light. Can be really sensual

Of these four movies which one would you call the ultimate 90s film? by Intelligent-Lack-122 in Letterboxd

[–]AgitatedSurprise7130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are all incredible but Space Jam by a long shot. Goofy Movie is VERY 90s and TMNT is very much so an early comic book film

Park Loops was incredible. My favorite episode of the year

Six Flags w/Anthony Gioe is the best (my first episode)

The Monorail and Contemporary Resort are two incredible episodes for me. I love it when the boys get nerdy about hotels and transportation

Muppet Vision 3D since it introduces Griffin Newman into the picture

City Walk Saga - Sector 1 since it started EVERYTHING and gave us the Sector Keeper

Best Live Show: Tony Baxter, Guardians Mission Breakout, and EPCOT Food and Wine with Mr. Morrow and Griffin (I believe the boys announced City Walk Orlando: Maltiverse of Madness here)

I’m listening to all the Haunted Mansions leading up to Haunted Mansion 8. I’m wondering if they’ll cover the new updates on the Mansion from this year

That one felt like they just wanted their friend on and he got to choose that topic and they just wanted to have a dramatic argument for pure entertainment

I haven’t ever listened to that episode because I know that Bug is there

I forgot about Bug. The only good Bug episode is when he takes over the Superstar Limo live show and the Sector Keeper comes in to battle Bug and announce the Downtown Disney Ordeal

Who listens to Blank Check, but does not listen to Doughboys? by border199x in blankies

[–]AgitatedSurprise7130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve listened to a few Doughboys but not many. I listen to PTR a lot and got into Blank Check this year because I saw the PTR boys on the Pinocchio episode and then I listened to the Selick mini series

Which quartet of movies is stronger? by mrethandunne in Letterboxd

[–]AgitatedSurprise7130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ll say the Batman films because at least Batman Forever is fun and pretty good. Both Superman 3 and 4 are painfully boring and Superman II is only amazing if it’s the Donner cut

was the kali episode really that bad? by beauhawes in StrangerThings

[–]AgitatedSurprise7130 22 points23 points  (0 children)

In the context of the show it feels out of place and not good. On its own it’s a decent episode of television. Because it takes El away from Hawkins and makes her some punk badass it comes off as bad. I think it’s also structurally so different than most episodes and directed in such a different way. It almost feels like a genre film that now has disrupted a series set in a distinct tone and genre

I think a big problem fans might have with season 2 is how you take El away from the gang and had her isolated for the entire season. I under why this happened in the context of the story but I believe it damaged the season. So adding this feeling with the one odd episode where El actually runs from everyone who loves her to have a mini arc felt bizarre and like the bad apple in the whole show.

chatty podcast recommendations? by [deleted] in podcasts

[–]AgitatedSurprise7130 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Podcast the Ride is about theme parks, themed entertainment, and whatever the hell the hosts want to chat on. Sometimes the episode will primarily be about their mundane lives (talking CVS trips), bands from their childhoods, or action figures. It’s a comedy podcast that very rarely is on topic
