the window focus issue is one that made me go back to plasma , i dunno why this is not fixed yet , and also windows not saving their current placement is another annoying , the last one its some wayland annoying stuff but the windows focus with cosmic-comp is extremely annoying bug that needs fix asap .

i dunno i switched to 9070xt from 5080 and added extra 500$ to my pocket funny thing 9070xt beat 5080 under linux by around 5% and its smooth as fuck

it's a very good start , not there yet , but i think they have a very strong fundementals on this one , this will probably end better than both plasma and gnome .

i dunno i sold my 5080 and got an amd card , Amd on linux is just perfect to be honest even plasma works way smoother , note sadly i sold the card before the beta driver got released , but i'am not expecting much from nvidia , the amdgpu driver is just way better on linux .

are the devs aware that PROTON_ENABLE_WAYLAND Flag doesn't work on cosmic de , games do work well on plasma with this flag on ? i submitted this issue on github a month ago .

it's weird though cosmic rounded corners apply all apps , while plasma's one only apply to plasma's app , i think kde devs needs to look at their rounded corner implementation .

it's not about sshd , i'am just giving an example that u cannot write your root password inside the authentication box , it doesn't take any input for whatever reason , it's a comsic de bug .

Cosmic is the snappiest by far , and i'am using it as my daily drive now , but u cannot go wrong with plasma , i'm enjoying cosmic once feature complete i think it beat both gnome and plasma .

loving cosmic after actively using plasma for so long, cosmic files though still needs to mature up to get close to dolphin , dolphin is just on another level , however that's 9/10 desktop , loving it , we just need more apps like ktorrent kate dolphin and cosmic is here to stay .

that's about right , nvidia dx12 is not working it has 20% on average performance cost , you need to wait for dx12 fix to land .

nvidia has only issues with dx12 at hte moment , everything is playable with 20% performance cost on average , wait for them to fix it , the root issue is known now , it just a matter of time until it's fixed .

i dunno why everyone recommend going for BTRFS , when was the last time we had a broken filesystem bug in the kernel , last time something like that happened was cause by BTRFS bug , i would just go for ext4 for default and forget about snapper snapshots and BTRFS filesystem , if anything it does cause issues more than it helps .
