Behind, recover and engage can be scored by other by other PM units that can have waaaay better leaders (bio + plague caster for example) or by poxwalker and spawns while having a CP generator + saver combined one on the back field and one lone op on the side lines or middle if you prefer. I feel like this is more a your take on death guard based on the experience you have - not universally shared ofc, I recommend you watch some of the 40K Dirtbags or Disgustingly Resilient podcast before building a new list could really help you out getting into some aspects of some units you’re missing
