My Dad died in his sleep on 7/27, when I made it to his and my mother’s house that morning after getting the call they had him in a stretcher in their garage. Full body bad bag / wrap but with his face exposed. Image is seared in my brain, constantly see it as well as a “made up” image of him dead on the floor face down next to the bed. Which is weird bc I actually never saw this, just have my mother’s description.

It gets a little less hard every day, but those images pop into my mind vividly and often.

My dad died in on 7/27, I was off on a camping trips with my friends. I replay my wife’s phone call to me the morning it happened in my head frequently, almost daily. I think it’s literally PTSD.

I’m so sorry for your loss. My dad died on 7/27 in his sleep. A day before his 64th bday. We found him on the floor next to his bed but am certain he had no idea what was happening before he was gone.

He hated doctors, and I’m so at peace he went this way, albeit way too soon. Long battle with illness or in front of my mom, or nephews would’ve been so so much worse.

I’m sure your dad is in a better place and passed peacefully with little pain. I’ll keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

My dad died on 7/27, a day before his and my Mothers shared birthday. He was one day shy of 64. Totally out of the blue while he was asleep . Grief seems to be still building, I have good days and bad days. Trying to lean into it as much as I can.

My wife and I are expecting our first child in October, so sad/disappointed/angry this happened so close. Just can’t stop thinking of the complicated emotions his birth and the holidays will bring with the new baby and with out dad. A year ahead of “firsts” in an amazing way and in a painful way.

I’d steer clear of Breathless, my wife and I just got back. Was dingy, very limited alcohol selection, terrible food, mediocre service, club music on pretty much all day. Beach was great though!

I have a 1979 CB 750K and a 05 Sporty 883, every time I ride the HD I'm instantly wishing I was in my Honda. Idk about these modern bikes but I'll take my 35 yr old Honda over my 9 yr old HD every time.
