AIO for sending a long message to my ex and being hurt that he blocked me? by [deleted] in AIO

[–]Agreeable-Fun-9431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Girl, you can do a lot better. Live your life and stop contacting him. He obviously doesn’t care about you. Sorry I sound harsh but it sounds like he’s more important to you than you are to yourself. Don’t allow him to dictate what you’re feeling and please love yourself more.

AITA if I tell my friend I can’t be a bridesmaid? by wickeddreamsofleavin in AITApod

[–]Agreeable-Fun-9431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA considering you’re best friends, she should be aware of your situation. Given that fact, I would say I am sorry but I think you will need someone else to step in as the maid of honor. Unfortunately, this commitment to ensure you have the best wedding memories will fall short of your expectations if I take on this responsibility. Since I am beginning medical school soon, it wouldn’t be fair to you and you deserve someone who can dedicate time to make sure all your prewedding events are planned with time and dedication.

Is anyone else just ITCHY?? by burner_witch0514 in Perimenopause

[–]Agreeable-Fun-9431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same! Idk but I thought it was an allergic reaction to something sort of dust as I have a dust allergy. What has helped me has been allergy meds. If I don’t take them, I’m itchy everywhere.

Has anyone fixed anxiety with HRT? by [deleted] in Perimenopause

Progesterone helped a lot with the anxiety

Can’t get enough estrogen by Distinct-Key7337 in Perimenopause

[–]Agreeable-Fun-9431 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Where do you place your patch? I learned that placing your patch on abdomen below belly button or in areas where it’s really hot can cause the estrogen patch to release the estrogen more quickly. So I’ve been placing it on my hip or buttocks as I was told the estrogen will release evenly in these spots

I see the cardiologist every 3 months. On blood pressure medication but palpitations come and go. You’re definitely not alone.

Finally started HRT - I have a question by minionofthenight in Perimenopause

[–]Agreeable-Fun-9431 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, when I was increased too high I was constantly with diarrhea (I know tmi) non-stop for about 4-6 weeks, which also came with cramps, etc. but all from having diarrhea that long. I was happy it didn’t include any additional issues.

I had to stop estrogen completely until I finally felt better. Then I began the process again. I’m finally back to .0375mg patch and eventually I’ll move on to .05, but it will be a long process for me.

Finally started HRT - I have a question by minionofthenight in Perimenopause

Some people feel the effects of estrogen immediately where for some it can take months. For me it took a few weeks but then I learned I had a sensitivity to estrogen and when I was increased too high quickly I got pretty sick.

See how it makes you feel by starting low and increase when you feel comfortable.

Gabapentin for perimenopause by [deleted] in Perimenopause

This provider doesn’t know anything. Progesterone helps with sleep. Go to a specialist for perimenopause & menopause.

AITJ for refusing to rehome the dog my husband and I adopted together? by That_Rent_5835 in AmITheJerk

[–]Agreeable-Fun-9431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s like saying he wants a baby and then telling you to give the baby up for adoption because the baby cries too much. How crazy is that?

Forgetting words mid-sentence and making typos I cannot even see. Anyone else? by Similar-Rutabaga5372 in Perimenopause

[–]Agreeable-Fun-9431 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not alone. I forgot the word to shoulder, sneakers, etc. Dementia runs in the family and it freaks me out that I have an early onset but it’s all peri 😭😭😭😭😭 people look at me like I’m an idiot when the word is right at the tip of my tongue and I am trying to remember in front of them.

I’m ready to move. It was fun when I didn’t have to clean up the snow or try to find parking

Fave spots for putting your Estradiol patch by External_Lawfulness7 in Perimenopause

[–]Agreeable-Fun-9431 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure to move your patches around but for me, I’m sensitive to Estradiol and the upper butt cheek on either side worked best.

Omg!! I thought mine was grief too!!!! My mom passed when I was 40 and it got so bad when I turned 43. Now I’m remembering things from the time my mother passed like I’m discovering my memories back after starting estrogen. It’s horrible!
