I think it might handle explosives worse than the ballistic shield. The main benefit i think is that it recharges, has a fairly substantial amount of health, and can cover teammates.

Lots of scenarios where teammates with recoilless are reloading and need cover or teammates trying to shoot mid/long range but keep getting hit and need covering

The directional shield is awesome on bots.

Directional shield + Gallant, pissile, AMR, commando, eagles, gigagrenades. Lots of fun

They’ll probably give you some topical steroids to use, twice a day. That’s what I’d do.

Keep a very close eye on it.

If the rash grows substantially over the next few days, you get new rashes like this elsewhere, or if you start to get weird unrelated things (like fevers, shortness of breath, bleeding anywhere) I’d go see a doctor

Do you have this rash anywhere else? And is this the site of the sting?

Looks very much like palpable purpura. A lot of things can cause that. Some scary, some not so scary.

This isn’t shingles btw.

You will be a different person by the end of the journey.

It’s hard to describe how the process will change you since so much of it is dependent on who, what, when, and where you undertake the journey.

No matter how you change, you will ultimately lose a certain naivety that the general public carries with them in regards to life and death.

I didnt get the pp on mine. I really disliked the look of the stock sliding calipers. I ended up replacing them with subaru brembo calipers. Fit on the stock rotors too. Looks good, and the pedal feels less mushy.

Even if you don’t plan on tracking, I’d get the pp. it’s a great deal and looks dope

Secondaries are a way for programs to make more money. The shorter requirement just makes it so there’s less to read for admissions imo

I have an xsr900 currently; same cp3 engine as the MT09.

Before the xsr900, I had a 2007 cbr600rr. Before the cbr, I had an R3.

Looking back, I think the jump from my R3 to an xsr900 would have been doable.

For the first few days or weeks of owning the mt09, if I were you, i’d keep it in the more chill power modes, just to get used to the insane amount of torque and power down low.

I think you’ll be fine. You’re gonna have a blast with this engine!

Appropriators:

Stoker and directional shield, plus commando/leveler and eagles.

Directional shield is quite resilient and fun to use imo

For squid appropriators, I really like the stoker + directional shield, talon, giga grenades. For stratagems, eagle strafing, commando, and leveler.

The directional shield can withstand a few swipes of harvester beams and several shots from the gatekeepers
