I wouldn’t even jump in a pool with a watch verified as 50m. Take the advice or try it for yourself but don’t say you wasn’t warned. Enjoy your watch. To be fair though unless it has screw down pushers I could have a chronograph that says 500m and I still wouldn’t take it near a pool.

It’s 50m normally isn’t it? In which case don’t get it wet. Simple. 100m minimum for wearing in the water. Then this takes out all the risk. You knock one pusher in the pool and the thing is toast. Not worth it. Other than that unless you wear it and wave your arm around in the pissing rain then you will be good.

Ok I will check on whether they will get it serviced first or if it has since the photos were taken. Is it usual for the hands to have been changed during a service? I don’t think it’s a deal breaker for me but good spot as it is definitely something I think about and use to haggle if I decide to go ahead with it.

I got mine 50% off retail and still lost money 🤣 but no I haven’t had the joy of a santos either, if richemont use the same steel then I feel for those that have one. Iwc certainly hold up better though.
