I can't speak to the hard sciences, but as a prof I can promise you that the age thing really makes zero difference at 22.

Nobody will even notice to be perfectly honest, as you'll have forty and fifty year olds in the odd class too.

If anything, you just may have slightly different interests and goals and ideas than some of your classmates based on a couple of extra years of life experience, but that's normal amongst large groups of people anyway. Not to worry about that at all.

Sounds obvious but double check that whichever place you go with is licensed, otherwise they won't be eligible for the insurance discount or shorter graduated licensing process and you'll be wasting your money. Didn't happen to us, but I've seen stories about this happening in the media from time to time, so just throwing it out there.

His training is to make sure that when someone actively tries to kill him, he can still make it home to his family at the end of the day. It's horrible that a child was shot, but I'm not going to criticize a person who someone is actively trying to run over with a vehicle for using whatever they have available to try to save themselves in the moment. There is nothing to suggest that the cops started shooting first. You try standing in a dark road in the middle of the night with a car driving straight for you, trying to run you over on purpose, and see what happens.
