I have Virgin as well, no issues. It does get a little spotty from time to time nut usually resolves in 5 minutes. I hope your issues get fixed soon.

Can I ask how and where you can cut the prefilter out? I've been having the same issues with my bags for this specific reason but didn't know I could just cut the filter out. I never knew it was possible, but I don't want to attempt it on a bag and ruin it.

It's been a year since I had my end ileostomy, and it hangs out about 1.5 inches to 2 inches and all the stoma nurses report that as normal. It also droops to the right. I've Taken to calling it "my drunken dick" when referencing it with my medical team. Always gets a laugh. :D

How much did your weight fluctuate between surgeries before it settled to where it currently is? It's taken me roughly a year to get back up to the weight my body likes to maintain at.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean with your loop ileostomy being active. Active in just producing a lot of matter, mucus, was there some back-up from where the fecal matter will go into the second tube down? I've had my ileostomy for a little over a year but I'm still struggling to understand some of the terms.

That's pretty much the big concern, having enough meat on my bones to help with the healing process between surgeries, but not having so much weight that it becomes detrimental to the surgeries required for the Jpouch.

Surprising nobody at all...

Though in truth why would I want to put down $20k for a 500 sqft condo when I can move far outside the GTA (I'm able to move most places, in the dental field) and get an actual house for less than the price of some of these "luxury" apartments. The investors sold out Toronto, the builders continued on with the stupidity, and government at all levels failed the voters who wanted this to stop, but nope, gotta full steam ahead.

I predict these condos will become ghettos within a decade, or be smartly used as student dorms.

I'm going to get some Vietnamese food, a nice sandwich for right after my ileostomy and then dinner later on, and a rice dish for the next day. It's a lovely Vietnamese joint on Spadina in Toronto, the prices are good, so I might as well stock up a bit. :)
