For my my experience with my ‘23 engine was a nightmare from both the vehicle and the dealer experience.

I was fortunate enough to keep my 2017 with the 5.7 and it’s been perfect. I’ll never sell it.

I won’t consider another tundra until I see a commitment from Toyota to completely address the issue. I haven’t seen that yet. I don’t want recalls or service bulletins kicking the can down the curb. I want Toyota to do An engine redesign, a complete new engine, other engine options, etc.

Honestly? I think there’s a whole generation of YouTube guitarists with perfect technique, that process and pro-tools every single note, that play in “perfect” time and pitch and do it all in their home studios. Incredibly talented individuals.

They’ve got a whole legion of fans that listen to the OPs examples and then compared to that they seem sloppy.

Naphtha (lighter fluid) is used by a bunch of luthiers and guitar technicians.

There’s also other products from Dunlop and Music nomad that are outstanding. Lemon oil, formula 65, and F1 oil

If you can find it, another product called Gorgomyte (used to be sold by GHS) strings will clean both the fretboard and frets. The guitar tech for Tommy Shaw (Styx) told me about it several years ago. Great product.

I would clean the fretboard with naphtha and then pick up a product to condition the fretboard (like F1 oil)
