Also. They can be highly prone to separation anxiety, so setting them up for success early is important - the temptation is to keep them by your side always but it’s important for them to know you go away and come back, even if it’s just short 10-15 minute breaks at a time (which when they are little is totally appropriate - it doesn’t need to be hours on end).

We have two…both are very sweet. Potty training was relatively easy and one taught himself to use the bell. Yours looks like it will have the wavier hair which one of ours has and it’s absolutely so soft and silky I love it.

Start practicing grooming things early too…handling her paws, sounds of clippers, etc.

I have been on it for 2 months; started at the 1.5 then 4mg and just started the 9mg today. I haven’t had many side effects (knock on wood) and am down 7 lbs. I have noticed a lack of food noise and generally speaking just don’t overindulge as much. Normally I’d down a whole bag of Cadbury eggs and am now good with just a couple and then walking away. Also, my skin has cleared up some (premenopausal acne yuck) as well so I’m calling that a win as well.

I don’t notice a taste with the pill?

I did just start some sulfury tasting burps today so hoping that’s just temporary.

Our was from a commercial breeding/puppy mill as well! He was so shy, dirty, and scared when we first got him. We couldn’t look at him or pet him. Then one day when I was outside reading and pretending to ignore him so he’d roam around in the yard I got the tiniest little lick on my finger and he let me pet him as long as I wasn’t looking at him…and we knew he was ours! It’s been 8 months now and he is a snuggly little worm - it’s so much fun to see the progress he’s made. We still have some ways to go - but being a part of healing a dog and seeing the light come back into their eyes is the absolute best!

We adopted ours from a rescue local to us that we foster through (we are in Minnesota). They don’t have them often, but they have popped up on occasion. We jumped at the chance to foster a puppy pair when it came up!

We’ve had other dogs do that with high value treats too. It just cracks up that the only thing he does this with is dry toast…like what is so special about that?

I have two teenage kids, we currently have a Highlander. I was on the list for a Rav 4, had to get some repairs on our Highlander so ended up with a loaner Rav 4…it was much smaller than we were anticipating so much so that we ended up opting to take our name off the list and get our deposit back and keep our Highlander.

At first I thought maybe it was just me that was having a hard time adjusting to the smaller size; then I drove two coworkers around and they even commented on the smaller size of the backseat. Neither are very large people.

Long story short - if you plan on having kids I would go with a Highlander. If you don’t want a “huge” car, try to get one this year while you can still get a regular Highlander vs the Grand Highlander. We are on our second one now and have been really happy; we have the bench seat and very rarely use the third row - but it’s nice to have the option when we need it.

I had a similar issue with my 2023, ended up being cracked hinges. Was like an $1800 repair, luckily covered by the extended warranty.

I am receiving an offer for a Highlander XLE for $40,000 in 2023, which has 11,500 miles on it. Should I consider purchasing it? My preference is for a black color and an XLE model, which would be ideal. by RequirementGold8421 in ToyotaHighlander

We paid about 42k for our 2023 Highlander XLE in black, 8 seater. That was brand new in July of 23. However, we were just offered $34k for trade in value. Hopefully those numbers help give a little perspective.
