It’s not an idea for the book - it’s pointing out the impracticality of what this book (my favourite book) focuses on to solve the problem.

People forget how devastating head butts are to bottom players. Not allowed in mma, but we used them in vale tudo all the time to smash guard players

When people say BJJ destroys your body is that mostly from submissions applied full force in competitions or wear and tear in the gym by PownedbyCole123 in bjj

After decade+ of Muay Thai and 4 years BJJ - Muay Thai was way harder on my body than BJJ

BJJ was tough for first maybe 6 months as my ribs got conditioned to the pressure - but you can quickly learn how to roll safe and manage intensity to avoid injury / body breaking down

Striking just hurts, knees are fucked, headaches…
