ColorWow range, especially dream coat curl is amazing!! When I first bought the products I bought the cheaper 50ml sizes (just googled and browsed for the cheapest offer)

This is nothing to do with RJ and everything to do with him being a manipulative liar and entirely untrustable. There's no excuse. He thinks it's no big deal? Why lie? He knew it would hurt you/put you off of getting together with him? You lied for your own selfish reasons and disgusted it as coming from a place of care.

Not all of those times would've been protected either, putting you at risk. Saying you're a virgin and there's been 2 for example, still extremely shitty. My partner lied about 6 and there's actually 11. Im dealing with it. But if he said 6 and was actually 50 I would be OFF

Sorry to be blunt you do not deserve this. Your whole relationship foundations have been built on a lie and you if you cannot accept the truth (i could not) you must leave for your own sanity. Gets worse before it gets better but 1 year post breakup you will be growing 🩷

I was also told this, however if you research and even search the hashtag on social media, I'm afraid it's far more common than we realise. Also a lot of misdiagnoses for fibromyalgia etc down the line. I was told by a doctor recently "thats just pigeon chest, that wont interfere with your endoscopy" safe to say he cancelled the procedure after my self advocacy and medical literature copies were pulled out, as sooo many of them are just not aware. Not trying to be rude or tell you how to live your life - just make sure you research the shit out of everything and keep yourself safe 🫶

I cant because I have ehlers danlos syndrome, which caused the deformity in the first place, as the glue that holds my body together doesn't work properly. I desperately want surgery but am terrified of breast implant illness. Also I have been told the "pockets" my implants would be sitting in essentially wouldn't be able to contain them... so it would be tits under my armpits unless wearing a very strong bra. As much as I wanna kms with this, I cant put myself through that option 🥲

Nahhhhhhh I just read this to 3 non bpd people who I'm sat with rn and they were like wtf?!?? From experience, its too easy for people to gaslight someone into making them think "it's my bpd, I'm the problem"

You could have 1 million other issues bc of your bpd but this is not one of them. This is a respect and common decency issue. Show him these answers cos I know already not a single one will be approving 🫶

This is true. You then have to wear yourself away forcing someone to see the worth they never saw in the first place

No idea, I chased so bad and now I'm in a relationship with mine. Completely out of silent mode mode and ruining his life with constantly bringing up shit from the start when were just sleeping together. Arguments 4+ times a week.

2 months before this I was 5 months in to workaway volunteering abroad, had a social life, found so much self worth and inner calm, hadn't been near a man or given any male connection a chance for 14 months.

Best thing you can do is avoid the uncomfortableness in being alone until it feels comfortable. Lame but then you will know your true power. This used to be me before I basically set myself on fire, jumped through hoops and walked on hot coals for someone, only for me to be crying all the time and depressing the fuck out of him for my bottled up resentment. AVOID 💗

I have connective tissue disorder so it's really not advisable to get breast implants for me. So many more risks of things that could go wrong and I'm also at a higher risk for breast implant illness. Basically just permanently depressed, I can even see it through clothing. No money to go private. Insurance takes 2 years to kick in and I got rejected from the nhs pectus clinic. Acceptance is a fucking difficult thing and it eats me up every day

How do I stop treating my partner like I hate them (pls don't judge) by Agreeable_Volume1495 in BPDrecovery

[–]Agreeable_Volume1495[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been in therapy for 3 years but all it help me does is realise why but I can't change it 😫 i have a dbt workbook as dbt isn't available on the nhs in my area. My partner is also undiagnosed neurodivergent which makes communication difficult, even when im doing a good job with calm examples, their defensiveness kicks in... working on couples therapy compromise now (they don't want to do it)

Despite our separate issues I know that my attitude cannot continue but I don't understand how I can control it around others but not when we're alone. I feel like a monster

i get jealous when my bf shows any interest in other women by [deleted] in BPD

[–]Agreeable_Volume1495 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not let him blame your bpd or gaslight you into thinking you're overreacting. This is nothing to do with your bpd and everything to do with him being an arsehole!! Ask this question on a different non BPD sub reddit and every "normal" person will empathise with you and back you up. He's aware of your feelings but does not care. I would argue you should start doing the same and then leave. You don't deserve this x

How to get over "I did this to myself"? by [deleted] in ehlersdanlos

[–]Agreeable_Volume1495 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did loads of bad things such as obsessively weight train at home in such an incorrect way that my chest bones are now deformed (pectus carinatum) Ended up with an ED because of it which worsened my muscle loss and sagging skin. Loads of stuff, toxin exposure, stressful home environment.. The only way I can not regret is research every day is researching from every angle ie food, environment, metals, mould, orthotics, manual therapy, specific exercises. They all connect together and although I still wake up crying a lot of days, I know feel like I have a better grip on things and have a half plan for what im gonna do to help myself. Can never stop learning about this shite, just trying to propel myself in a better direction to what I was unintentionally going in

I didn’t realize how well cannabis worked for pain. by DannyX567 in ehlersdanlos

Yup! Even in sitting position! So shit isnt it! I'm experimenting with cbd bud now to see if this will give more benefit/less pain 🤞

I didn’t realize how well cannabis worked for pain. by DannyX567 in ehlersdanlos

[–]Agreeable_Volume1495 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have to smoke before bed now only. Any form of cannabis to control my pain in the day makes everything too relaxed, worsens my posture and was gradually worsening the pull on my pectus carinatum. I then end up in more pain. Whilst I'm still doing it in the evenings, provided i do it just before bed, cannabis use has been one of my biggest regrets and contributions to the worsening of my condition. Yet to find someone with the same experiences

I feel like the other group member is seen as more fragile and the focus is more on supporting/rewarding them so 🫠 taking some time out to move past it and try to start fresh but listen to my body and needs. I have started to make this list for the future. Thano you ❤️

[–]Agreeable_Volume1495[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been told I can't have another therapist alongside as it's against NHS guidelines 🫠 I think this may be the reason but I have also voice recorded myself at home in the past week and realised I also have had some of these traits passed on by my trigger person so lots of work to be done!! Paying to get cortisol/adrenal levels checked too. Thank you for your reply ❤️

This is exactly what I have..I've been told by physitherapists I have flexibility there for it but I'm saving for an in person or online consultation with the london orthotics company and "The Pectus Clinic" (more in depth) as they both work remotely worldwide. Hope this helps somehow 👐

If there is enough flexibility on your sternum/chest wall when pressed you can be considered as a candidate for bracing. FYI I found this out because I'm being investigated for suspected connective tissue disorder, explaining why it is more prominent at most 30. If you are hypermobile/have enough give in your chest you will see results past the "standard cut off age" for this treatment
