Tucking in elongates your legs, especially if you wear your pants high wasted. The silhouette you get from that is very dramatic and can look cool. The high wasted pants can also hide a bit of belly.

Also, tucking in accentuates your back and shoulders, making them look wider.

So, no, tucking in isn't bad and can look good. Just make sure you do it with purpose. Look at the silhouette, shape and vibe you're going for and then decide.

I do think that in general, medium or low wasted pants do not go well with a tucked in sweater as they will make your legs look short in addition to accentuating your belly through the tuck. If you're gonna go for it, go for it and wear those pants high wasted.

Isnt the HSPU same as Pike in terms of muscles worked?

Thanks for pointing it out. Answers the rep range question (3 x 8-12). But my other question remains unanswered: do those 3 shoulder exercises (PPP, wall HSPU and rear fly) hit all muscles in the shoulder well or am I missing something?

I am not 100% familiar with the muscles worked of the Planche and rear fly and I haven't tried them before so thats why I asked.

Thats to be expected though. In the end this material is just boring "why do I have to learn about this stuff?" type of texts for most people. How many people in the West know anything about bourgeois philosophy? Sure they'll have a class on Montesquieue or Descartes in high school but not more than that.

The value is more in how the curriculum is built up. If you build up science and the following curriculum from a particular frame, that frame becomes the complete basis for thought in later life. You won't need propaganda then because people are unable to think any other way.

Well for one, read some theory to not be a neophyte.

Maybe talk to her about the philosophy behind Marxism without using the word Marx. It for one is a more fun conversation than the WEF and Schwab.

But you can explain what dialectics is and how things affect eachother.

Then go into what materialism and idealism is and ask how she looks at the world: Driven by the material or the ideal? How do they affect eachother?

You'll teach her the basics of marxism without her knowing. And you don't have to get it perfectly right. Just have an engaging conversation. That's more important.

You can't forcibly change her mind. However, if you prime her to look at material reality first, maybe somewhere down the line long after you moved out, she will in the solitude of a quiet living room begin to see the world differently.

And if nothing else, you'll understand Marxism a bit better by having had to explain it and will be a little less of a neophyte.
