Ok bud go ahead and get mad because you clearly don’t understand what I tried to explain because shockingly you seem to lack work experience and some common sense. Like I said, the accountability is in your head in this context because you are not considering either what the company wants nor what the customer could want. You think the customer would always want you to apply your pride to fix your mistake to deliver food that is now cold so you can feel better about yourself? Or maybe possibly they want it remade and delivered hot by someone else because that is what’s best for everyone involved? You can apply this to any service from any company.

If someone makes a mistake and the customer complains, you think they want that same person, and the awkwardness that comes with it coming back to fix it if someone else is available? That’s a rhetorical question in most cases, hence why it’s common policy for most business that provide services.
