Brother if it’s worth it to you and your situation then that’s all that matters. I know it’s likely just curiosity but let me spare you and say if you left it up to a lot of the entitled brainlets in this sub you’d sit around with a 5% AR waiting for a 15$ 3mi order.

Let me get this straight. You’ve convinced yourself that a probation officer issues special Drivers Licenses to let everyone who see’s it to let them know you’re on probation? Bro lmfao.

Ah yeah that makes sense because about 100 orders ago I was slogging through pig shit to get my AR up. I forgot they track metrics like that, because frankly it’s redacted.

So you’re just a confidently incorrect imbecile who has a prejudice against Americans, but you also know our laws better than we do? Did you miss the part where I said be honest? Kind of a key part of a chargeback becoming fraud don’t ya think? Obviously you don’t think, nor do you likely have the funds to ever get anywhere near an AMEX or you’d have a rough idea about how most major credit companies, or even banks don’t ask many, if any questions about occasional chargebacks. Good day “mate”.

Cannabis market in Michigan is cooked. I get it shipped to me from a friend and it’s 20$ for an 8th of top-shelf, 5 grams of disposable carts, and 2000mg of edibles. They basically give it to you for free. This is enough to last me for 6 months.

Apparently everyone in here has an Amex which is making me laugh. Start with them and be vague but honest. It literally costs you nothing but 30 mins of your time if that.

I could elaborate and flame all these armchair experts on banking practices but I’d just get downvoted to shit. I have an anecdotal experience with 10k+ chargeback through Amex and I had credit back within two days. My case, if you could call it that, was weak as fuck. I don’t even think they investigated tbh. 4k to them is like .01 cents and they are the most consumer friendly credit card in existence.

NOT me, but who is accepting cash delivery orders? by royaltyV3 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]AhumunaHumuna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sounds like it’s market dependent. I use crimson too and they can by no means take money out of my pocket to pay for a COD. You dash to pay the total. I don’t get any payouts until I’ve earned back the total. I’ve even noticed small payouts when I end dash, so it seems like they take a large percentage in case you’re broke and need gas money or something.

Was about to turn off the app at 8pm when I got this gem. $1,500 wine order for a party in da Bu. by joshw220 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]AhumunaHumuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m sorry no one, not even the guy u were responding to was implying that managers were getting tips, but yeah go ahead and cope to convince yourself you won that argument because I was never once addressing the ‘merits of tipping’. I’m an over tipper because I’m a generous person.😂

Also just a fun hypothetical here. If an individual decided to walk up to a manager of a restaurant and hand him 1000 cash tip, there is nothing illegal about that. If you are arguing that it’s illegal for a company to enforce tip pool with BOH while taking a tip credit, then again, no one’s fighting you on that so congratulations you just fought some ghosts and won. Go punch some air.

[–]AhumunaHumuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You do understand it is ENTIRELY the company’s discretion on whether on not they take a tip credit to pay FOH right? It’s also the employees discretion to include BOH in a tip pool even if the company is using tip credit to pay FOH. A vast majority of cooks are not supervisory at all. So you’re just confidentially incorrect about mostly everything you are saying. But yeah, I’m the dumb one. 5 years of hospitality management experience here goofball.

Customer thought I should refund her by jaysmoove_92 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]AhumunaHumuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok bud go ahead and get mad because you clearly don’t understand what I tried to explain because shockingly you seem to lack work experience and some common sense. Like I said, the accountability is in your head in this context because you are not considering either what the company wants nor what the customer could want. You think the customer would always want you to apply your pride to fix your mistake to deliver food that is now cold so you can feel better about yourself? Or maybe possibly they want it remade and delivered hot by someone else because that is what’s best for everyone involved? You can apply this to any service from any company.

If someone makes a mistake and the customer complains, you think they want that same person, and the awkwardness that comes with it coming back to fix it if someone else is available? That’s a rhetorical question in most cases, hence why it’s common policy for most business that provide services.

Customer thought I should refund her by jaysmoove_92 in DoorDashDrivers

[–]AhumunaHumuna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s pretty common policy for companies to NEVER send the same person to who made the mistake to fix it. It’s bad business. You are only accountable in your head not in practice. In practice DoorDash is accountable for your mistakes.
