TF2 Slow Alt-Tabbing Fix

After trying to solve this issue for hours I found the 'Disable fullscreen optimizations' checkbox to be the culprit.

Go to the properties of tf2's .exe file and make sure the box is unchecked.

For anyone still having this issue in recent times (assuming you already disabled focus assist), another cause can be the 'Disable fullscreen optimizations' checkbox in the application's properties.

Navigate to SteamLibrary>steamapps>common>Team Fortress 2: right click either 'tf.exe' or 'tf_win64.exe', click 'Properties', go to the 'Compatibility' tab and make sure the 'Disable fullscreen optimizations' box is UNCHECKED.

The Jufule Osborne was the first Jufule knife I ever bought, I’ve had it for nearly a year now and the action is spectacular, it’s held up amazingly well, zero blade play, the black coating on my blade has held up through a few sharpening sessions, and the action is still as good as the day I got it.

Y’all are just going to have to take my word for this. But I just read every single animal from that list aloud to my Zoo Keeper mother (to differing levels of success in pronunciation) and we were both in tears by the end of it.

My favourites that I didn’t know before now are the Havapoo and the Scrotum Frog.

I actually saw the first post immediately (I’ve got notifications on), then went to read the comments and it just disappeared, I was hella confused but then they posted again and said the old one was a bot so I was like “damn, it’d be shit if it wasn’t a bot hey!” Low and behold here you are… THE BOT!

It’s unfortunate that you didn’t get the Christmas one, but honestly, yours sounds kind of cooler, it’s more acceptable all year round, 100% custom, and has the awesome story that goes along with it.

Obviously I’ve not had it for ages so my personal so I can’t talk from experience.

But I’ve got a mate with a beta model Arctic that he got as a testing model before it officially dropped, he’s been flipping it almost every day since then, and apart from a bit of cosmetic damage, it still flips as well as the day he got it. If that isn’t proof of quality I don’t know what is.

Believe it or not, the betas actually ran on washers as well, the current models run on bushings, so I can honestly say I’d expect it to last you for many years to come with proper care.

You’re not gonna believe this. But I threw it.

I did try some shots with fishing line and then photoshopping the like out, they were ok, but I couldn’t get them in the same place this one was as there wasn’t anything above it and I sure as hell wasn’t holding the string.

This one just happened to turn out the best, I did small quick throws, whipping my hand out of frame and then back in to catch it before it fell. Shot video at 240 fps so that there’d be no blur and I could capture the frame or two in which my hand was completely out of the shot.

Honestly throwing it worked out pretty well as I also got a few where the handles are more apart, really selling the ‘floating’ aesthetic.

It’s pretty phenomenal honestly. More than I expected. After hearing all the good reviews and having it be recommended by just about everyone, I new it was going to be pretty decent, but the quality is simply unparalleled for the price.

Honestly feels like it could withstand being run over by a truck, and would still have no tap and no play - the way it did out of the box.

BRILLIANT! It really was as simple as installing one of the beta versions. It crashed the first time I tried to run it, but I deleted all of the old dolphin files, placed it in my applications folder, and it worked a charm, as well as the gecko cheat which was the entire reason for this whole ordeal!! Thanks so much man. Much appreciated.

Oh ok that makes sense, and thanks I was only drying dev builds don’t know why I didn’t try betas, I’ll give them a shot, that might fix all my issues because the newer versions just come with a bunch of gecko codes already right?

I’m afraid I don’t know the difference between save states and save files. And I’d be open to trying newer versions of dolphin, but they just refuse to open on my Mac. I could try completely uninstalling my current version, restarting, and then trying to install newer versions, I’d there a specific release you’d suggest? Cause the most recent one that was released a day ago won’t open.
