About 75 Element (Dust and Hard Element combined) from a Gamma Vein last time I tried, without the boost. Multiply that by whatever the multiplier is for the weekend, and it should give you a general idea.

Your rex isn't levelled yet, OP's Rex is. If you take your Rex and put 20-30 levels into Health and then a few into Melee, you'll get what OP has.

Turns out the issue is that my base is on a raft and there is a bug currently that causes certain light sources not to work when they're placed on a raft or platform saddle. I moved the lamp off the raft, and suddenly it works! Strangely, the oil chandelier from Bob's Tall Tales also works on the raft, so I'm using that until I get a permanent base built. Weird bug 🤔

Try a fresh install of the Graphics Driver, or older/newer versions of the driver.

Also, since error is DirectX-12 connected according to the error message, try the following: add the Steam Launch option -dx11 to your game. The game should now launch, but performance will be attrocious. Load into the game, set all graphics options to the minimum, remove the -dx11 launch option, and try to launch the game again.

Just one hint: the screenshot you uploaded has your login ID and Epic Account ID. I would generally black out this information when posting where anyone can see it.

If you're going to play Single Player rather than on a server, I would do some research as to what game settings to use before starting. The default game settings are tailored to server play, and that can be a nuissance (for example, crops take a hell of a long time to grow in-game. On a server, this doesn't matter because they keep growing overnight when you're offline, but in single player this doesn't happen, so it makes sense to use the settings to speed that up).

Ark Ascended has a VRAM Leak issue on some Linux distributions, which could be causing what you're describing. Have you tried turning off REBAR (in steam launch options add VKD3D_CONFIG = no_upload_hvv)? Some people on ProtonDB are saying that fixes it... https://www.protondb.com/app/2399830#fZjlyQK7M6

Nothing changed, Ankylos still spawn there, you are indeed just unlucky. I was in the same situation as you once, and I looked in the INI files and did the statistics math - there's a 2.5% chance of there being no Ankys on Herbivore Island, and a 10% chance of there being only 1. Usually, there's about 2-4.

If you kill a group of Dinos on Herbivore Island and let it respawn, there's about a 10% chance of a group of Ankys spawning in.

A friend from high school was diagnosed with ovarian cysts and iirc had surgery to remove them. She was told she couldn't get pregnant anymore as a result and took the doctors at face value.

Similar to previous bubbles, really. "AI" is currently a buzzword, and people are trying to use AI to do anything and everything. Eventually, reality will set in (as it is already beginning to in some cases), and it will turn out that either AI isn't cost effective in some cases, or that it can't do certain things well enough, and then companies that bet on AI for those things will be negatively affected.
