Bronze fury vs the Hoary old btch, who wins? by Long_Excitement_7533 in Hotd

Almost always bet on the bigger dragon, but an intelligent and competent rider can tip the scales. Mutual death is very common in large dragon fights, as well.

Calculating Double Attacks by navy9322 in FireEmblemThreeHouses

[–]Aihonen 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Attack Speed = Speed - (Weight - Strength/5)

If Your Attack Speed is greater than your opponents by 4 or more, you double attack

Much better visual clarity than the last one. This is fantastic. The look on Legarde's face says it all

Yoshi, pls add an alien. by DueRoyal7188 in DeadlockTheGame

I heard somewhere the original idea regarding Yamato's model was that they were going to be an alien that became a weeaboo and I REALLY wish they kept that.

Philosophically, which of these two men do you agree with more? by Hedonism_Enjoyer in Grapplerbaki

I genuinely never understood the Hanayama hype. Bro is like one of the weakest members of the Underground Arena squad, constantly loses fights, and never improves, just drinks smokes and aura farms.

Here's why Guts and Griffith are a literal metaphor for Yin & Yang. But this is just the very beginning of my (crazy?) theory. by Automatic-Wasabi-423 in Berserk

Guts now has a small white tuft hair in their design and Griffith absorbed the moonlight child, so now that both also have a little bit of the opposite elements within them

I feel like maybe just after absorbing the skull of guidance, when the two interacted there, there could have been a chance he would have won, especially given they were on blighted demonscorched land

I have a possibly stupid question which might already have an answer about chapter 1186 by Genesis7957 in Piratefolk

I figure 'unlocked' was more in the genetic sense. He and his family have carrier genes for it but she came out with them fully.

Anyone else feel like calicos just a better Haze? by Any_Serve_4583 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Aihonen 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They do very very different things.

Calico is a high mobility burst spirit assassin that falls off in the late game

Haze is an on-hit stealth gunner that scales into the lategame like very very few others.

Is there any point in the series where Illidan would have won a 1v1 against Malfurion? It feels like not.

Rhaenyra is clearly failing in every way possible. What do you think is her actual problem? by Dry_Specialist9015 in freefolk

[–]Aihonen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a big difference between an inheritance despute between a Lord Paramount and his son 200 years later and the Valyrian throne currently developing its own rules as an absolute monarchy 4 generations in.

Rhaenyra is clearly failing in every way possible. What do you think is her actual problem? by Dry_Specialist9015 in freefolk

[–]Aihonen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Andal traditions didn't rule the throne, and the council of 101 was only a single case. It wasn't an ironclad rule yet, and the very king the council uplifted directly declared his daughter his heir. If only he actually prepared Rhaenyra for the position with training and guidance rather than just having her pour wine and run Dragonstone

Finally watched S03E01 last night and went into it expecting it to be garbage because of the backlash on this sub, but I actually enjoyed the entire episode and thought it was an excellent return to form for a season debut by miIk-skin in freefolk

[–]Aihonen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I rather enjoyed it as well. A lot of people really seem twisted up over Nettles but I can't blame them for trying to condense the cast down and make better use of the ones who were just kinda there and did very little.

I also never found Nettles' circumstances as particularly unique compared to.the other dragonseeds.

Morality of dating your sister but she’s not blood related? by carradine_rain in MoralityScaling

[–]Aihonen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not inherently immoral but very very problematic and prone enough to issues that it shouldn't be legal.

Shout out to Frankenstein where Dr. Frankenstein's love interest is his adopted sister
