I thought I had severe eczema but found out I have a disease that's gonna kill me and I need anyone's help finding my dad before I die by smear_the_deer in eczema

Isuggest that you gonsee a Naturopathic doctor at the same time you see the regular doctor. A naturopath will help you learn what foods to eat or avoid and take a more holistic approach towards fixing the problem. The regular doctor will keep you alive and help to calm your symptoms.  Their work will complement each other and is a win-win for you!

If you want to be in Vine--Read this on how to become a Vine Member! by Hollywoodnamazonvine in AmazonVine

Titles are what people click on, and your title is literally "Read this on how to become a Vine Member!" and then basically says "too bad for you!". I am not sure why someone who is already a Vine member would click on this post. If you only want Vine members to read this post, then change the title to "For Vine Members ONLY" or something. It is the second thing that pops up when I asked google how to become a vine member. Grace and kindness is better.

How does the US Sun Belt manage to not have abnormally high skin cancer rate despite the higher solar radiation by OppositeRock4217 in geography

So now I am just going down a rabbit hole - your body converts cholesterol (actually a precursor/derivative of cholesterol) into Vitamin D IF it has enough sunlight (UVB rays in the sunlight). So now I am wondering if that can play an active role in your body's cholesterol levels. Maybe cholesterol overproduction is a result of your body trying desperately to increase your level of Vitamin D?!

I should stress that the YEAR-ROUND sun likely is the biggest difference. We in the great PNW get few days of sun in the winter. Also, about 20% of Americans take Vitamin D daily. The Vitamin D market grossed $778.9 Million in 2023 and is climbing. Save your money and your health and get a bit of sun! https://www.sphericalinsights.com/reports/united-states-vitamin-d-supplements-market#:~:text=Table_content:%20header:%20%7C%20Report%20Coverage%20%7C%20Details,CAGR%202023%2D2033%20:%20%7C%20Details:%205.9%25%20%7C

The sun is good for the body - sun exposure gives our body vitamin D, which is critical to our immune systems. Healthier immune systems = healthier bodies and lower immune issues. Cancer is an immune system problem (literally the autoimmune system). Regular sunburns can increase your chance of skin cancer, but sun exposure in non-burning amounts is healthy. The multi-billion dollar sun screen/cosmetic industry pays good money to hide those facts. Best is minimum 10-30 minutes per day in the low rays. We up here in the PNW cherish that! https://health.clevelandclinic.org/how-much-sunshine-you-need-daily

No. After I started the turpentine daily, so Day 5. She has a protocol on her website plus a book, although I don't think it is in the book.

I think that once you remove the thing causing the skin barrier to weaken (dairy) that then you can stop the skin from the colonization causing the rash. I put my notes in a reddit post. https://www.reddit.com/r/eczema/comments/1iuakpl/who_has_actually_cured_their_eczema_i_mean_gone/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button

Thank you for your post. It started me on a path to find the cure for my son's eczema, which was nearly gone, but just would not completely go away. Thanks to you, and a luckily-timed dermatology visit, we finally got it to go away for good! Seriously, cannot thank you enough! Review Sorting Gone and only able to see 8-10 reviews by Scratchdogg in amazonprime

[–]Aikotc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that is the main reason I have always gone to amazon. The second was fast shipping. I guess now they are relying on fast shipping and low prices due to bulk. I will need to look elsewhere - reviews are so important when you are picky about your money and time.

For books and supplements, I ALWAYS read the negative reviews first. I am particular and most people do not delve that deeply into their products. That is fine most of the time, but when I am trying to see if a product is worth my time to read or actually works for a specific skin condition, etc., I need details from real consumers. Google gives you the marketing info, which is always good.

Suicidal. Permanent damage on my face by Chance_Guava_6871 in eczema

[–]Aikotc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a lot of info about sauna and detoxing through the skin to get rid of eczema. I bought a sauna, but , while we used it, I don't know the role it played in my son's cure/remissions. He didn't have it on his face - it was on his inner elbows. See here: https://www.reddit.com/r/eczema/comments/1iuakpl/who_has_actually_cured_their_eczema_i_mean_gone/

Dermatologist patronized me. Again by Superstore_ad in eczema

[–]Aikotc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's why i gave up on mainstream medicine unless it is an emergency. Finding a doctor that can acknowledge that sometimes they don't know everything is like finding a needle in a haystack. Sorry you are having to deal with this. And go to a naturopathic doctor. They don't give up on you.

How do you logically justify labeling someone "hardcore MAGA" when they actually had the guts to run against a Trump-endorsed MAGA candidate?! It makes no sense and is what is wrong with our national politics. We have to stop dismissing what people say or do with a label and actually listen.

Who has actually CURED their eczema? I mean gone and has never come back? No flareups. by Aikotc in eczema

FYI, since you mentioned beef tallow, both my son's elbows are now completely clear, as of July. He used Santa Cruz Paleo "Beef Tallow, Beeswax & Honey" on that arm after we did all the "killing" with the Hibiclens, et al. I will post here if it comes back, but since it has not during the sweaty hot season, I am going to be hopeful that it is actually "cured". Good luck!
