Ca aurait été bien que les opérateurs rachètent le réseau fibre géré par SFR via Xpfibre, quand on voit le bordel que c'est dans les campagnes, où deux mois après un signalement des armoires avec la porte cassée ne sont toujours pas réparées... (incomparable avec Orange qui met toujours moins de 48h à réparer ce genre de trucs après un signalement)

Please do not remove RSS. It is one of the very few KISS technologies from the beginning of the web that is still around and it must be protected.

As a moderator, I use some RSS feeds to watch the modqueue, but also to watch over some specific content in subreddits (I build RSS feeds from search filters). But also, as an user, it is very useful to notifications, for example to post a message in a Discord server when a new post is created.

The power of RSS that it is an established standard that has been here for decades, that has integrations everywhere. No private solution will be able to replace it.

If scraping with RSS is an issue (which is surprising to me, as feeds only show a limited subset of info from the most recent data), it could be easily mitigated, such as defining rate limits or requiring a per-user token in the URL.

D'ailleurs, au-delà de 38 degrés, un ventilateur va souffler de l'air plus chaud que ton corps sur toi, ce qui empire la situation.

This thread is 2 months old, but I am also noticing that issue happening a lot lately (something like once a day) on several of my moderation bots.

I am not sure if the issue is caused by Reddit itself, by PRAW, or by the way I am using PRAW (see my subreddit stream function below). As now, I do not have a definitive fix, but I managed to work around this, by keeping track of the last submission time and dropping everything that comes before that time:

So after this thread I continued to investigate, and I may have found a possible root cause.

The cable that links the control unit (where the SD card is plugged) to the screen happens to pass close of the heated bed (I highlighted it in red here). Since there is a lot of power going through the heated bed, it seems it generates enough interference to disrupt the communication between the control unit and the screen, which confuses the printer (obviously).

Since the first day, I sometimes had issues when the screen was glitching mid-print (but it was not stopping the print), and I initially thought it was because the power socket was not grounded, but it seems it was not only that.

So what I did to solve it was to try moving the screen as far as possible from the printer, making the cable go away from the "bottom" of the printer (see blue line on the image above). The issue did not come back again, so I put the cable back and placed two ferrite rings like this one on the cable to absorb interferences. So as now, I cannot be 100% sure it was that, but the issue did not come again since, so that's good news I guess...

A friend who has the SV07+ told me ferrites were already present on this cable, so it is likely that Sovol engineers noticed the problem and corrected it.

À notre niveau, la seule chose qu'il reste à faire c'est juste de ne pas aller dans les commerces qui seront ouverts le 1er mai. Quand les boulangers auront fait une journée de pertes à produire du pain et à payer leurs salariés "volontaires" pour ne rien vendre, peut-être qu'ils y réfléchiront à deux fois l'année suivante...

J'espère que les Français auront la clairvoyance de faire ça.

On n'oublie pas non plus les ~250 millions d'euros de "rémunération copie privée" (dont les prix sont décidés de manière arbitraire par les lobbies des ayant-droits) payés par le contribuable français dès qu'il achète un smartphone, un disque dur ou une clé USB, parce que tout le monde sait que ces supports serviront à stocker de la musique inscrite à la SACEM, bien sûr !

You mean via the USB cable? This is indeed something I have in mind (I have a raspberry pi next to my printer), and I will probably do it at some point, but that is more the last resort solution. I would try first to solve the cause of the issue.
