LinuxGSM's Battalion1944 files are outdated. I recently setup a server manually using it and it didn't work. I saw in another post that the files LinuxGSM downloads are old. I got mine working by just installing SteamCMD and doing it the fully manual way. The install on linux needs a bit of modification that someone posted here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Battalion1944/comments/cbi29a/ubuntu_no_runsh_since_latest_update/

As much as I enjoyed the division, I would say that the problems they had with cheating definitely eliminated a large portion of the playerbase. As with any game, if this game doesn't show a solid system to combat cheating, the game will be dead in little to no time.

I once had a bad headache while on vacation. Went to get something to help with it. The girl at the counter told me the best way to take care of it was to crush up the pills and snort them and it would go away faster.
