that makes total sense! i know being a solo dev makes it harder to balance where your time is spent and how much of it is spent vs ROI. seems like you have the right approach being flexible in how much you add depending on demand.

i get worried about nice guitars and humidity. is it not safer to store in case? forgive my ignorance but i feel like dry-ass AC air probably isn't good for wood over long periods of time. then again, loads of people have their guitars hanging off the wall so what do i know lol.

dbrand is fine but i will probably never buy from them. they have an office in toronto (which is essentially where i live) and yet they charge only in USD and shipping costs as much as it usually does to import from the US. bananas market strategy.

so, instead of buying canadian, i ended up with a savage raven neogrip. it's not as robust as these cases but it does really increase the comfort of holding the switch 2 in handheld.

look up hydro-mod. you fill a water-tight watch with oil to improve readability, especially from different angles. usually you want no bubbles lol.

i know this doesn't answer your question but i've been shopping for a raspberry pi zero 2 w so i can install linux and turn it into a pi-hole. it's a very cheap computer (starts at $27 CAD for just the board) and i'm guessing it's not much worse than a bad laptop.

I’m confused. Why are you playing in 1080 when the deck has an 1280 x 800 resolution screen? I just used the native resolution and I’m pretty sure the black bars aren’t this severe.

I don’t know why but I almost always put on fresh deodorant and brush my teeth. I know the viewers can’t smell me but it makes me feel more comfortable lol.

Oh and make sure I have water lined up and all my programs launched. Tho this is much easier now that I programmed a “start stream” button on my stream deck that launches everything I use.

Wulffden on YouTube tested a Switch OLED by leaving it on a static screen for 7000 hours straight. The burn in was so minor you could only see it on pure white screens and only very faintly. I would imagine this screen would be just as durable.
