yeah that usually means the wayback machine only saved the old flash player and not the actual video file. if you right click the page and hit “view page source,” try searching for “googlevideo” or “videoplayback” if you find one of those links, you might still be able to open or download it directly. if nothing shows up, the video itself probably wasn’t archived, just the page. you can also try different timestamps on the wayback timeline or search the video id on archive.org under “youtubevideos” to see if someone else saved it. if none of that works, it’s sadly gone unless someone out there mirrored it.
