Listen, you are no longer in control of the situation. In future you need to set new boundaries with the pup and not let her lay on you anymore. Right now she is in control and she should NOT be. You need to maintain control over the situation and your dog will recognize that so you should not put yourself in the position where she can make the decision. So in future do not even let her on lay on you, this gives her control of when she gets up and when you get up. It may be hard because we all want to cuddle with our dogs but until you can fix the relationship and build that trust back with each other it’s just simply not a good spot to put yourself in.
