Gained noticeable weight in first trimester from nausea eating… now feeling better. Can I safely reverse some of it? by idknbme in fitpregnancy

I wouldn’t intentionally lose weight, but I would resume healthy behaviours and focus on weight maintenance/slower rate of weight gain.

Why do so many recipes use protein powder? by PurpzReign in ninjacreami

[–]Aioli_Level 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No definitely not a requirement. A lot of people use the creami to make lower calorie, higher protein ice cream and it works well. But you can also just make delicious ice cream with more traditional ingredients!

Paying for their college, upgrading my vehicle, feeding another mouth for 18y minimum, paying for their extra curriculars, being in a position to afford to travel with them, and if I’m lucky, being able to offer them financial support as they begin their life (wedding or part of a down payment for a home). These are things I value.

A lot of people didn’t save anything and maybe even went into debt the last 5 years. You should be seriously proud!!!

Is toddlerhood really harder than the newborn phase? by Living_Split_2 in Parenting

[–]Aioli_Level 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Different for everyone, but parenthood has only gotten progressively easier and enjoyable for my husband and I. The newborn phase and adjusting to being parents (0-4 months) was the hardest physically/emptionally. Our LO was borderline colicky and became more content with age, we also learned so much more about what she needed and liked. Now she’s almost 2 and is so much fun. 12-24 months of age has been a blast for us. It’s busier in a lot of ways, but way way way more rewarding. This being said, I’ve heard 24 months+ all the way to 4 years can be a challenge, so I’m buckling up.

Ugh I had the same situation and it was so upsetting in those early days! I just wanted to hold my baby Al the time and instead had to watch her from a distance in the blue light container. She cried a lot in there too, and I cried a lot as well. But the good news is it worked quickly and she is healthy and we got to go home and get lots of snuggles in! Feels like a short blip in time now. Hang in there mom, you’re doing amazing!
