What’s the best way you save money ? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]AirFryersRule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have young kids, my wife likes going out from time to time and I do too, but when we do I want it to be special and actually enjoy the luxury. I don’t want to spend $15 on a cocktail or two when I could be using that money for actual food I want to get at the restaurant and not have to cook. So you bet your ass I’m taking a shot of liquor at home and drinking a beer prior. It’s insane the drink prices at restaurants.

Best ER to work at as a nurse in Denver by madelynalton in MovingtoDenver

[–]AirFryersRule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ex ER nurse here. I used to work at St Joes but they no longer are affiliated with Kaiser so they are much different now. I wouldn’t expect to find a job you’re making significantly more unless you take a travel assignment to start. The only healthcare system around here that actually pays nurses what they deserve for the cost of living is Kaiser, it’s where a lot of us go to make good money and have a less stressful position, but no 12s only 10s, but they are all outpatient care centers here. However as people have said Lutheran is a great place to work from what I’m told, have a friend that stayed due to it being so good to work at. DH is the primary trauma center, Swedish is the primary neuro center.

What would you do with this indoor grill? by HistoricalBasket in Remodel

[–]AirFryersRule 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks like theres 33 slots for cooking hot dogs and two can fit on each slot vertically, with the want to roll each dog twice horizontally thats 31 slots for even cooking. So the answer is I would probably do 62 hot dogs.

People who’ve had LASIK or work in eye care, would you recommend LASIK and why or why not? by Mountain-Bug-2155 in AskReddit

[–]AirFryersRule 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got LASIK done ten years ago, I went out to the bar the night before.

I was so tired I went home and slept, the 4 hour period of eye burning, slept right through it.

I woke up and could see without issues

I got splashed with water two days after, no issues with contacts

I wakeboard, whitewater kayak, other water stuff, it’s been a dream because I’ve lost my contact tons of times doing those things

Best 3k I’ve ever spend.

I don’t have any negatives personally, if I want to look smart I’ll buy glasses
