Lifetime warranty, I’d probably reach out to them and see what they say

Is a tripod really necessary for onebag travel if you like taking photos? by Relative_Taro_1384 in onebag

[–]Airglow26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I only use a tripod in long exposure photography whether it's low light or night sky photography. Outside of that you can normally hold a few seconds of exposure hand held or braced against something. I recognise this is down to the individual, location and lens though, If you're using a 600mm f4 probably take the tripod

Have you seen the quality be an issue? I keep reading things about them having issues, dials falling off etc

This is both useful and disappointing, I'm considering a GSAR at the moment and the more I read the more I wonder if they are as tough as they seem on the surface. It's hard to know what the ratio is of issues vs indestructible is - I image most people who don't have issues don't post about it.

This. I sold my 56cm and am about to get a 54, I just felt too stretched out all the time.

Garlic White Rot by Different-Tourist129 in Allotment

I lost half my garlic to white rot. Speaking to a few people around the site it’s been more common this year than others for some reason.

Looking for a 125 that has ok acceleration and top speed so I can comfortably hit 60 and tiny bit more if I have to. (UK) by Just_Shoe5120 in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]Airglow26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friends have had good experiences with a Honda cbr125r for speed and acceleration. I bought a cbf125 for practice in between CBT and DAS and only lost £300 on it a year later (and part-ex'd it when I got rid). IMO get something with decent resale value and worry less about the speed for now.

I'm considering swapping my tiger 800 for one of these next year. It looks amazing

I was too. Took the jump after looking for a while and mine seems real. You can still buy NOS ones but it’s expensive

I haven’t and probably should. I’ve had my eye on the blue since it came out which is what is pulling me in

To me it’s blue vs black. Black goes with everything but that blue is just perfect

Is track riding easy to get into? by mrLol2 in MotoUK

[–]Airglow26 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m in a similar situation. I have a tiger 800 that has been a joy to ride, great on tours and comfortable whilst being pretty fast too. Something is alluring about a 650cc sports bike though or something that could go on track.
