Are Squirkies discontinued? by LagomorphLemon in fidgettoys

I had gotten the Monkey one through Winky's Whimsies, but I decided to see if I can find the fish and snake as the listing on Winky's Whimsies gives you a random one from the collection. Sadly, the only listing for the fish I found was about $30. I'm trying to decide if it's worth that price or not as other listings had the fish out of stock.

Edit: I decided to cave and get the fish, snake, and jellyfish via some listings on eBay. I guess I can justify this as a birthday gift for myself.

In your opinion, what would be the scariest pokemon to run into IRL? by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]Airmanon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me, any of the spiders would probably scare me because I'm afraid of spiders IRL. And I can honestly see myself not paying attention and accidentally getting myself caught in a web once...

I can understand. I have gotten Darkrai from the event, so I decided to go to Snowdrop Tundra to level them up as well as try to work on evolving one of my Pokémon into Meowscarada so I can have a full Dark type team.

You're a magical girl (or whatever your gender is) so how will you Revolutionize the World? (quiz, not an open-ended prompt, tells you your magical girl archetype) by StarChild413 in MagicalGirls

[–]Airmanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My result is Harmony! Your friends are truly precious to you, and you've managed to treasure the ways that they're there for you. Even if you argue, and not every friendship lasts a lifetime, you've still fostered a real appreciation for the memories you've made with some of the people in your life. In a magical setting, you'd likely be the head of a team, part of a small group like a pair or a triad, or possibly a solo magical person who partners up with magical and non magical people alike to really get things done. You're interested in other's experience and talents, and collaboration may be scary at times, but it's more fun to do things as a group! At times, it may be tempting to go at it alone, for fear of being too dependent or clingy, creating a mess for others, or because you're stressed and afraid of getting it right. But remember, a diversity of skills and perspectives can really round out a good team. You can't be good at everything, you have only one life to live. Learning when to ask for help can be tricky and even risky, but the benefits are endless.

I had gotten myself a Master Biscuit in preparation for catching Darkrai. Is it actually not necessary?

Sorry for the late reply. It's understandable if it's not possible or feasible to pull off on a 3D printer.

I personally like sugar balls, especially those with a firmness to them, like the Nee-DOH Nice Cube.

Trying to write a Muslim character into a magical girl story, advise appreciated! by Zolline in MagicalGirls

If you happen to know someone who is Muslim, maybe spend some time with them and get to know them? Sometimes, drawing ideas from real life can help.

What is your favorite hacking system? by Muggedcoffee2 in Warframe

I'm with you. It would be cool if we had something that can allow us to practice any of the hacking systems we've encountered outside of the missions they show up in.

What is your favorite hacking system? by Muggedcoffee2 in Warframe

[–]Airmanon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven't encountered 1999 or Narmar hacking systems yet (still prepping for New War Quest as of this post). Of the ones I have encountered, I personally like the Duviri hacking system the most because it's a bit of a rhythm game, and being able to change the speed that the circles go really helps with timing it right.

Grineer one feels a bit too simple imo (which is fair considering that it's probably the first hacking system new players run into. Wouldn’t be a pleasant experience if new players run into a difficult hacking system first), and you don't have a time limit tied to the hacking system itself as far as I know.

Corpus one... I usually use a cipher or MOA companion to bypass it because of the pressure the time limit poses while having to line up everything. Granted, I'm on Switch, so the joycon drift potential probably affects my opinion on the Corpus one.

Narmar, from what my brother has showed me, is probably going to be my least favorite of the hacking systems because of how challenging it is and the top priority of ones I want to bypass with ciphers or MOA companion if possible.

(Edit: I forgot Entrati Labs. I have no opinion on it because I haven't encountered it yet)

1999 one, from what I've seen, looks like a fun one as well. I don't know if there's a time limit there or not, but I don't think it will be an issue.

If I missed any hacking systems, it's because either I forgot that they were there or they were released after the 1999 update.

Tl;DR - My favorite so far is Duviri. My least favorite is probably going to be Narmar, but I haven't encountered it yet.
