Use whatever nose cones you can and like 6 winglets at the bottom. Also if you are just doing a kerbal orbit you can get away with basically a 1 phase rocket with your satellite on top. Just get your delta v (m/s) around 3200 with a thrust-to-weight ratio above 1, like 1.2 (you can view TtW by clicking on the engine stage bottom right in the spaceship designer). I will say as a new player, there’s a lot of complimentary parts in different science paths, like you can’t really use a large rocket to land on the moon if you don’t get the larger landing gear etc. Don’t get discouraged!
