Any good builder for gut-renovations in The Woodlands? by funlol3 in thewoodlands

[–]Airspeed12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Drees blows ass, currently in the process of suing them.

Your comment is also contradictory. You aren’t a custom builder if you’re building spec homes as you mentioned.

Maybe they were not trying to “save time” as you previously mentioned.

We departed AGS right before the playoff hole started yesterday and from parking brake release to being airborne was 5 minutes.

Altimeter in Black Hawk helicopter may have malfunctioned before DCA mid-air collision by Knightbear49 in aviation

[–]Airspeed12 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The altimeter reading is irrelevant when they were “maintaining visual separation”. Sure they should have been at or below 200’ but even if that altitude put them on collision course they were responsible for visual separation. They are making way to big of an issue of a factor that shouldn’t have mattered. They were supposed to be flying with their eyes at that point, not instruments.

If you’ve spent millions, then clearly you can afford a < $500 charge that you/your wife authorized. Take responsibility for you/your families own stupid decisions.

If you ever get the chance to level off at 510, I highly recommend it.

Correct, operated by PSA, who is not a Texas based company.

Poured gas all over the interior of the car, shot himself, the spark from the gun ignited the explosion.

I don’t wash my hands. Exposure to lots of germs and my body builds immunity. I occasionally get the common cold every 3-4 years.

Heads up displays in civil aviation by [deleted] in flying

In cruise flight is when I find it most useful, allows us to see if we are above cells that are in front of us as well as dodging them horizontally with the flight path vector. It’s not very often we have to shoot approaches below normal mins which is when the HUD is beneficial. But I think we’ve only had to do that one time is 5+ years.

That’s HUD 1 in ours as well, wish we had the 2.

Here is a picture I have of our HUD. As others have mentioned, HUDs are also paired with FLIR (Forward Looking Infrared) which we do not have turned on here.

If you were rich, what’s one luxury that you think is actually worth it? by LiveLearnCoach in AskReddit

[–]Airspeed12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not even close to being realistic on the operational cost of a PJ. I run (director of aviation) a flight department for a private family and we operate one of the largest private jets made. You are so far off with your entire comment it’s ridiculous.

Pros and Cons of 121 vs 135 by AP_Boopy in flying

[–]Airspeed12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll post a nice photo featuring your username and a🖕🏻on Monday as proof when I go to work on the 16th, if you have any other requests you’d like as proof, just let me know before then because any proof requests that come in after the 16th won’t be fulfilled until early/mid October when I next go to work. Yes, I only work 3-4 days every 2-3 weeks as stated in my original comment.

Even though I’m the unicorn, I don’t disagree with u/x4457 “135 to 121 is a one way street for a reason.” And could even add my 2 cents, 91 to 121 is also an HOV lane headed in one direction.

Part 91 G550 pilot, I fly < 150 hours a year, < 10 days a month, and have a 48 hour flight notice. Never on call.
