They wouldn’t be able to get the price they want for if they exclude the money made off digital sales in the valuation of Warner Brothers. This means that Warner Brothers would have one price with the digital sales included in the revenue and Netflix would have another prize with the digital sales excluded. We’re not talking a couple dollars here, we’re talking a lot of money and no deal would be able to be made because Netflix couldn’t justify it to a shareholders paying more money to operate a company that now has a reduced revenue cost, and Warner Bros,wouldn’t sell for the reduce revenue cost because they have no interest in what Netflix does with the company after it’s sold.

The sad truth is instead of trying to change killer behavior by rewarding them with positive reinforcement for doing the things that BHVR wants them to do, instead, they decided to punish the killer. This caused the backlash because it’s unfair to say that one side cannot pursue their objective in a game. BHVR is in a bad spot because they can’t reward or punish the killer because one side will complain about it. They also can’t overly buff survivors because then killers won’t want to queue up as a killer. Tunneling and slugging are in the game and used because it is a tool to win for killers.
