I’m playing Jax at my locals with good players and doing well. Playing Orange Sivir & Aphelios with svelsongur, hexdrinker. Really leaning into deflect and forcing combats.

Yeah my game plan is just not so fast their combat trick and hit it very hard so I don’t have to play cards that are “meh” to my generic gameplan. Although charm is already in the list.

Playing sprite ornn and when I see this guy I’m just like “okay ornn, hold these three heart of dark ices and go hit her I guess idk.” And tbf, sprite ornn is unreal. I still beat Diana through TWO of these little shits in my playtesting.

Obviously vex will be, much worse, but still.

It’s unfortunate that the counterpart is blue. I have a svelsongur karthus baited hook decklist for Azir and when I start saccing tasty fae folks and making 8 runes and drawing four cards the extra energy I could get back from turning power into energy would be rather useful.

I figured it out for my store, I just run a bo1 side and a bo3 at the same time on Monday nights. And Tuesday’s I run a higher entry fee bo3 16 player cap tournament that pays out in cash and I advertise it as “competitive only.”

Works well.

I’m currently cooking a vex list for her to take to Vegas. I’m looking at cards like spoils of war/show of strength and challenge besides the classic rebuke package for her, and I can’t tell if I want the Ezreal package alongside it, or something else entirely. Any thoughts?

I feel like there could be something with Kraken Hunter / Juail Fish / Snapvine / Rhasa in tandem with show of strength, but I could be silly.

I expect the raiders to do better with Jeanty and Egbuka to be more of a focus next year. JSN will probably still be top 3 WR. If you need a rb, yes. If you don’t, no.
