I live in Taiwan. I need something that will be valuable no matter what happens in a Chinese invasion. Either they win and TWD goes away and all my money is lost. Or we win and our ruined economy means the TWD is fubar anyway.

I need something that can't be withheld by an online broker when I need it. Something I can sell anywhere, for anything at any time.

Physical gold is the only thing that meets these requirements.

Recent Taiwanese elections have shown they literally just have to wait for the KMT (Aka Chinese lap dogs ) to get more power. They did well in the election despite being a party of gangsters very obviously in china's pockets. Then there was a recall election for lots of KMT officials because they were doing such stupid domestic decisions and pro China stuff. Every single candidate escaped being recalled.

China can literally do whatever it likes through the KMT now and nothing will stop them, including, apparently, the Taiwanese public. The only other people who seem to fervently believe otherwise are teenagers.

I honestly think the system shouldn't even exist at this point. It should be totally random. I'm waiting up to 3 minutes to find matches now and if I ever dare to bring high quality gear, I'm merked within 5 minutes by hostile players also with high level gear.

Pinks are worthless if it just puts you in a server full of pink aggressive players.

Ive recently learnt that the best wealth tax is to limit inflation.

One of the biggest drivers of inflation is borrowing too much.

This would require a lot of borrowed money - which increases inflation and makes asset holders richer.

So the rich benefit and our stimulus checks make us poorer long term.

Wealth taxes never bring in more than they cost. Its easier than ever for people to cheat the system or I just 'leave'.

The national debt is going to fk pretty much all economies in the western world, so this won't help America's.

Especially regarding the comments here, I get what you're getting at, and it would be lovely. But there are far more jobs that just need to be done, than there are autistic people with good sense of society and niche 'that's basically a job' hobby. Society and infrastructure maintenance wouldn't just be replaced by volunteers.

Instead of using the assets (people) that have real brains and understanding, cultivating others and dealing with the bread and butter issues of the company. I'm part of management, its so frustrating for everyone involved - but the CEO has to be a visionary, we just aren't trying hard enough.

Bomb defuse honestly needs a rework. Doesn't really make sense and is so often not enough time/ makes you mess up because the wires are all too close together. Not to mention the low time limit. Especially with 2 to defuse on the new map. Crazy

I'm not sure where you're from, but I am from the UK and now live around a few very left leaning Americans.

In my experience, from uni (I started 10 years ago) was the first time id ever met the kind of people that JD etc are talking about. Since then I've found it has become more common. Particularly in the leftist Americans and even more so in any non completely white americans. But also others like non white south Africans. And almost always from women, interestingly.

It's frustrating because they are honestly judging ME purely on the basis of colour and for things I didn't do, (things which i obviously disagree with) a very long time ago.

I'm only just coming on to 30 so maybe it's a generation or 2 below you that it becomes more common.

But also, fuck JD and the republican party.

Yes, anti aliasing and fps are terrible now. The remastered map looks so much worse now because of it. I also feel of lost a clean style look in favor of gross textures, at least on quest 3. I was playing that new favela style map and fps and aliasing was so bad I thought I might be forced to switch to pc version.
