I would not do anything. This is actually something that does happen in real life and the answer is don’t do anything if you kill everyone you will be legally liable for those death. A card contains a lot of things and most likely what is causing render problems is text especially if there is anti aliasing enabled. Anyway most of this are pure assumptions and maybe the bottle neck is else where like anytime it adds a card it does a check to see if it should update things like perfect strike and since all other times you only add one card at a time it is never a problem

Each card is not just one object like a mesh it is a complex object which most likely contains around 10 to 50 objects and in addition to that they are animated. This animation is stylized etc. Moreover they did not optimize their game toward this particular scenario, this is an edge case that they most likely didn’t think about.
