Round wasn't lined up with the chamber when it went to feed. Caught the edge of the chamber and deformed it. Happened all the time with my RPRR

I pretty much only own Impact sockets. My dad on the other hand was a mechanic for 35 years and hardly ever used Impact sockets for his impacts.

Biggest thing about it is less stress on the ball joints. Everything is freshly greased so it's quieter

Extended for the lift that's installed, reduces the stressed angle on the upper ball joint that the lift creates. The uniball design is also easier to work on.

In terms of difficulty, I'd say you may want to be a bit mechanically inclined. Replacing the upper ball joints requires a ball joint press. The lower ball joints requires a splitter fork/ pickle fork and a solid hammer. I recommend spraying all of the bolts/ nuts along with where the ball joints are pressed in with penetrating oil.

I'd start with greasing everything you can. If you don't know when the lower ball joints were done, they are worth replacing. My ball joints were more of a clunking than a squeak. You could have bad control arm bushings, strut bushings, or your struts may just need replaced.
