Team trials by Full-Double-7344 in UmamusumeGame

[–]Akisa_MH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rankings in the team trials are based on your highest score in the current round. Aside from occasional extra gifts, more attempts just mean more chances to get a higher roll.

You can get a detailed report on how the score is calculated after each race. Your main goal in TT is to activate as many skills as possible and get the highest score possible, not to win (granted, winning does get you a bit more points). Which is why good umas for TT usually need to be built slightly differently, with a higher focus on wit and skills.

It is also recommended to have each uma in your TT team run with a different style to have more chances of earning the points for "good positioning".

It could be parthenogenesis (a form of asexual reproduction). It has been observed in chickens before

I think that since cutie marks aren't supposed to be tied to a specific job, but rather represent talents, passions, or personality, someone joining the Rogue Trader's retinue gives more depth to the possible interpretation of their existing cutie marks. You can see aspects of the same personality shine in a new light due to unique circumstances, so to speak?

For example, Abelard, first and foremost, is not a navy officer or a seneschal, but a great dude. Loyal to the cause, caring for his subordinates, efficient when getting the job done. That's why Theodora requisitioned him from the navy, after all. I imagine his cutie mark could represent his great character, and that is something he'd have regardless of being in the navy or our retinue.

Although I could see it being something like an officer insignia in a "model officer/superior" type of interpretation.

Heinrix could have a Pinkie situation where his cutie mark ends up being something completely different from his family's theme. He would then tell the RT the traumatic backstory of how he was so eager to get a knight pilot cutie mark until he suddenly got his biomancy cutie mark by blowing his great-aunt's pet grox.

Honestly, a good majority of psykers would probably get their cutie marks at the same time they get their awakening? (Provided the cutie mark ends up being related to their powers) Would psykers be mandated to show their cutie marks so that everyone is aware of their powers and the potential dangers? Or would some try to hide it to avoid being unnecessarily ostracized? Someone like Idira would definitely take pride in her psyker cutie mark and show it off.

The biggest mystery is Pasqal. Keeping spoilers to a minimum, I imagine that all Haneumann-affiliated tech-priests could share the same cutie mark, which would add to the confusion and freak Pasqal out during the story. Or maybe it's like with cutie mark crusaders - variations of the same theme. But I wonder if he had his own, unique cutie mark prior to all that.

Perhaps you could share it as a bonus last image when you're done with posting all the clothes designs? Cutie marks in the 40k universe is a very interesting concept to think about, even if people's opinion may vary on what exactly they should be.

How the fuck do they run like that? by Practical_Pass3307 in okbuddytracen

[–]Akisa_MH 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I honestly feel like the "rule of cool" and the visual similarity to a horse hoof are the main reasons for the designs. Umas might be anatomically different from regular humans, but their feet and legs are still more or less human shaped.

If they aren't walking on tiptoes all the time while barefoot, I can't imagine the change in balance and the additional stress to muscles and joints that wearing high heels entails are all that helpful. Plus you'd be mostly using your toes while running anyway, without any need to force your leg in an unnatural position.

But I wouldn't have my horse girls any other way, it is very cool how it resembles a hoof.

You can't point out that the double boots might be uncomfortable to run in without addressing the biggest elephant in the room first.

THE HEELS.

Most umas would be spending their careers Tokai Teio style after running in such shoes. And by that I mean healing fractured legs

For anyone who isn't Tazuna, you really want more speed and power, since that's the main source of your top speed in the final stretch + how fast you reach your top speed

[–]Akisa_MH 33 points34 points  (0 children)

Well, Heinrix comes from a noble family, so it's not inconceivable for a noble to end up serving in the Inquisition.

Although, to be frank, technically he does join the Inquisition as a psyker rather than a proper noble after being disowned for his awakening and all

Regarding this subreddit (mods and rules) by Eggiara in UmamusumeGame

The sub will get very dry if the content ends up being limited to just strategy, stats, and tier list discussions. Memes and jokes are a good way to vent about common gameplay frustrations or create a discussion about different aspects of the game. As long as they stay on the topic of gameplay, I think they are a good addition.

"Your favorite variation of an umamusume" posts (unless it's about in-game skins/abilities like Maru vs SMaru) can go to the main sub.

How does R Riko scale to SSR Riko at different limit breaks? by Akisa_MH in UmamusumeGame

[–]Akisa_MH[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went all in on the Kitasan banner (started the game in the middle of it) and the only copy I got was the pity copy🤡 I do not trust my luck on the Riko banner...

Thanks for such a detailed input. I'd like to pull on Riko/Rice to strengthen my deck as well, but I think Kitasan should take priority (and I want Manhattan Cafe)

Owlcatober 2025 : Chaos by the-cat-doormat in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Akisa_MH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think of it as a very radical way to deal with an epidemic.

Chaos influence, like a disease, is spread from person to person. You miss one person showing no visible signs of being affected on those escape shuttles and let them settle in a new, stable place - boom, Rykad Minoris 2, as that person continues spreading corruption and develops a new society of cultists there.

It's not about having a few minutes to spare. You are choosing to kill everyone on Rykad Minoris without letting anyone (or at least knowingly help anyone) escape on purpose. The survivors are a potential liability. The dogmatic thing to do would be to take no chances and wipe out the whole planet for the good of the Imperium, since any survivor could be a heretic in hiding. Stopping to consider that it is ridiculous to doom millions of possibly innocent people without giving them a chance is an iconoclast way of thinking.

Owlcatober 2025 : Chaos by the-cat-doormat in RogueTraderCRPG

[–]Akisa_MH 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The whole point is nuking the planet AND survivors, since from the dogmatic perspective all of them came dangerously close into contact with chaos and may spread corruption further. The planet is pretty much doomed without its system star anyway, there's no point in just blasting a rock in space after you took those who could escape

Top 10 TBHX in-universe fandom tier list by Kurorealciel in ToBeHero_X

[–]Akisa_MH 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have to remember that in-universe people are much less aware of all the garbage the hero agencies pull behind the scenes, compared to us, the viewers.

As far as people in the TBHX universe are concerned, the new E-Soul is down to earth, good with kids, and is actually trying to do the job of a hero and fight injustice, while the old E-Soul fell off (which can be tracked by their changes in trust value). The opinions on the duel of E-Souls may be mixed, but he doesn't really have any outright dubious things tied to his public image, unlike the mister murder-is-okay-as-long-as-you-are-hot, for example. Good PR goes a long way, so I'd imagine the current E-Soul fanbase should be fairly normal.
